Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

So in Nov - Dec I said 25-30k was a correction zone.
Thus I sold a piece today at 30200.
Still holding and stacking , but could not pass up a sale at the 30k point.
Besides I don't have to worry about taxes on it for while since I sold it in 2021.
It would really be nice to see BTC go to my second correction zone which is 70-80k.
The next 19 days are crictical.

As always, corn exceeded everbody's expectations from $4000 to $30,000 in 7 months. Imagine how rich you will be if you hodl the majority of your coins 2 cycles later. Can ore will you do that until 2030? I highly advice you and everybody here to do so! We held out the bad years the rewards are life changing, it would be great if we can celebrate together the ride to a $1 million and above. Edit: I love how people here reaching their goals after years of hodling, keep'm coming!  |

I am from Europe
I was in a bank around 1 month ago. I think at that time bitcoin was just bellow 20k. I go to bank like 1 time a year.
I had to sign some papers. Bank employee proposed me if I would open some savings account, like its good to have some extra money saved. And the conversation was like this:
Bank employee : Would you open.....
Me: I wonder if in last years people answers you on such proposal with "I have some investment in crypto..."
Bank employee: Yes they do. I have bitcoin too.
Now that sounded good. Bank employee saying he owns bitcoin..neat, it gave me thinking, wow things are changing....among all other good news (institutional investors, paypal - which is not liked here but i embrace that news...)

So you felt richer after BTC went from 700 -> 18,000 compared to 9000 -> 30,000? Seems right but that would mean it is downhill from here which doesn't seem to be the case. Do you remember when BTC was hitting $3000? How does that feeling compare to now? |
