Remember!
There are two types of people in this world
Those who talk about Bitcoin...
When price is high.
Those who talk about Bitcoin...
When price is low.
Avoid both...!!!
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Magazine doing a fact check on me for an article coming out soon sent me this question (among 200 others):

"You are a believer in freedom, at least of a particular form."

Man this is going to be such a hit piece...from the questions I can summarise the article:

Libertarian (someone who thinks all problems go away when there is no government) from Michigan (home of pro-fascist, Henry Ford) who's signature shirt is the Hawaiian shirt, associated with the racist Boog Boys, believes that he doesn't need to help fix society's problems. Instead he fled to the middle of the ocean, shirking his duties to the government. He, and seasteaders, talk positively about the American frontier even though there was slavery during those times.
He and his seasteader friends just want seasteads so they can create a racist and homophobic society while they should be on land giving all of their bitcoins to each according to their needs.

That Kaminska girl didn't even go as low as this guy is going. He may be positioning himself for a job working for the Thai media.

Similarly minded people will be the ones reading that piece.  It's meaningless drivel for like-minded, SJW wage-slaves.  I wouldn't even respond.

We had the "journalist" in our home for a week, giving him a full account of what happened in Thailand. He was originally going to be writing for Men's Journal, then when that fell through he was trying to get it into Rolling Stone. He settled on some ocean environmentalist bullshit magazine.

On Bitstamp we are less than 400 BTC away from $59900.

We were just discussing 500 BTC to go from $47k to $49900 just a few weeks ago.

we all remember the civil war. this has been discussed. the *paymentzz!!!1!* group demanded bigger blocks. and forked off. and told us to fuck off. the *store-of-value* side kept small blocks. for a reason. now, there are both co-existing, an ongoing free choice for everyone. let´s check what the market says:

bitcoin: 46 500 USD
b-cash:     486 USD

this thread is dedicated to the SOV coin. big blocks suck. the good thing is, we dont need to fight about it anymore. there is the big block coin. fair game. it has its own forums.

bitcoin has saylor and bitcointalk
bcash has ver and bitcoin.com / reddit
and it also has it's own fork with even bigger blocks, bsv, which has CSW. Not sure if it has it's own forum but it does store weather data in the blockchain.

I think you can use BCH in lots of places that accept small paymentzz. I just don't remember which ones, and I don't play satoshidice anymore ever since they stopped accepting BTC.

Edit: Old meme... I should have updated it to 125x. We were around $400 5 years ago.

Well, if we change that 5 year scenario to 6 years, we are at about 188x with our current price at about $47k, since for much of 2015, bitcoin prices were at $250 and $250 was a kind of jumping off point for BTC prices with about 10 months of abilities to buy at or around those prices.

Think about it, bitcoin relatively speaking has been a way easier investment for normies to get into than other investments, even for the unbanked.. considering getting in Tesla or some other stocks.

Purse.io is the only place I know takes BCH.  If BTC  fees get too tall... I think Roger counts on a lot less 'allegiance' to orange coin and that's his site.  I might even use it for a payment but hold it for any length of time, fk no.

Have never understood why buying stocks hasn't been made far easier with the rise of the internet and why trading isn't 24/7. I can buy cars, buy property, arrange loans and arrange mortgages easier it seems.

It's called a buying opportunity and you're supposed to feel good about it.
I'm already more in BTC than I probably should be Tongue

Not a bad place to be, in recent times... gosh, since about September (maybe earlier.. depending on how you measure the situation)?

After being a scared cat for so long, you decide to buy some crypto at k56  just to fit in...

now today you decide to look at your crypto portfolio and to show off but that dip on the charts makes you to start seeing things such as logo ressemblace to an empty wallet. jeez signal given, that cant be the future!

Sometimes crypto teaches you to have a big heart, happy trading WO

Good thing that a large number of us here are not buying into that "crypto" shit, or even talking about that irrelevant bullshit, here.

On Kraken you need 800 BTC to raise the price to $57,700...

Still not a lot.

I know we are all hardened holders here... but my soul still hurts a little.  That said we needed this drop.  I just wonder what the concurrent stock market implosion will do to the corn overall...

I just recognized signs of the "implosion":

Yes, I've got his number if you'd like to Facetime him, but we're recording it for my podcast, this is an episode called Llama vs. Scammer.

BTW sir, I believe you made a mistake, uncharacteristic of your essence, in that bitcoin is crashing up toward infinity instead of zero.

Surely there’s a bottom here somewhere close. Pretty sure we will hit $100,000 before summer so this dump can’t have too much more left in it.

Some weak hands around, man. Who the hell panic sells in a bull run?
