It seems kind of recent that a lot of OG bitcoiners are going full carnivore. I've been leaning towards that but still have some fruits and veggies. I was on a cyclical keto diet many years ago and it worked for me. Might do that again soon, currently I'm on a "See Food" diet. When I see food, I eat it.

A while ago Craig threatened to "bankrupt" and "destroy the lives" of developers. Today, some of Bitcoin Core's longest and most talented developers are getting sued by him. He's trying to drive them away, bully them, and ultimately tie them up in nonsense litigation.

Quote
If you hold Bitcoin, you need to seriously start campaigning to get BSV delisted everywhere. And fight back *hard* against this rubbish. If he scares away our best developers, and distracts them with legal rubbish, he's hurting Bitcoin's technical progress.

Quote
We need to make noise, and make sure the people contributing to Bitcoin Core don't get bullied by this man. It won't ever end, the next thing will be patent trolling, or some other kind of legal bullying. Enough is enough. BSV *has* to be removed from every exchange.

CSW truly is rat poison squared.

That guy must have a small army to protect him, right ?

My guess is it's either Gleb Gamow, Phinnaeus Gage or Bruno Kucinskas.

CSW truly is rat poison squared.

Lawsuits can actually bankrupt and destroy lives of innocent people. This is very sad. The saddest part though is thinking that any node or miner would run a version of the software that gave anyone access to coins they don't have the keys to. Anyone running such software would be running a fork of BTC and the coins he got access to on this special version would be worth $0.

Will CSW sue the whole planet next to get them to run his personal version of bitcoin that gives him special access?

The stupidity is astounding. Hey CSW, do you even bitcoin bro?

This. Not to speak publicly about it but imagine having someone sue you just as you're trying to sell off a very expensive floating asset that costs a lot of money to maintain. Knowing that the longer they keep you from selling said asset, the more desperate you become. To the point where it's better just to hand over millions to make the suit go away.

Some people work with the system so well that they weaponise it. There are no mechanisms built into government to prevent people from giving the government more power against their enemies. That is a powerful revelation and if you play that game you become very powerful.

Are you going to get 'them COINs?

Coinbase will go public in a direct listing very soon as S-1 is published.
At above $100bil valuation, I feel like there is no more current 'value" left.
Of course, it could "pop" 30% or more on the first day, but i feel like it would be more of an IPO "dud" like FB and UBER within a week or two.
Later on, maybe a better prospect.

Welp, if anyone is still questioning if some exchanges out there are running fractional reserve bitcoin, or even phantom bitcoin, here's the proof:

Crypto Exchange Asks Customers To Return Bitcoin After Selling It At 88% Discount

“It’s very understandable that a lot of users will feel upset they were able to buy what they thought an order was there for Bitcoin at very low prices. But unfortunately, the underlying Bitcoins were never in the possession of the exchange, so there’s never really anything there to be bought or sold, unfortunately.”, said PDAX CEO Nichel Gaba in a press conference earlier today.

That's PDAX. They are running a broken exchange or have incompetent devs, and blaming it on some glitch that caused their bitcoins to sell for 300k PHP ($6k USD), so the first thing some users did is buy at that price and withdraw the 1 BTC successfully to their external wallets outside the exchange.

Their terms of service clearly indicates transactions are irreversible. So they are simply going to lose money or eat up the costs. They are not going to try to sue a thousand users.

Their hot wallet triggered a withdraw, and with no checking or anything whatsoever, so the users got their 1 BTC. I doubt any of them are going to return it.
