every try to get new the 50k will be disruped by sell of a larger amout of coins. Second time. we were at 49750... and the next moment (no real pattern break visible) 48900 until a little rebounce... Same pattern in Jan and last week. Every time near 50k ...

Prepare to buy the dip at $39K $139K !!! Cheesy Cheesy

Here fixed it for you!  Cool

*edit(): But its obvious that I don't rly want that to happen, cuz that would mean I would have to wait some more so I can sell a bit at $60K. Smiley

Don't worry Save the RF... You can easily earn around $100 every few minutes anyhow, so it's NOT like you won't be able to live decently well in the coming years... just think about it?  you are earning thousands of dollars an hour... so I have not really heard of $1million dollar income people not being in decently good positions - so why should you give any shits about if bitcoin goes down to $39k or up to $60k.. blah blah blah.?

By the way, for some strange reason, your actions and your words are just NOT adding up;.... it's like quasi-incoherent to attempt to follow your ideas (to the extent that you have any ideas beyond your wanting BTC prices to go down to below $40k.. which may well NOT happen.. and it may well be true that today could be amongst the last days to buy below $50k.. not that I really have any ideas.. just suggesting some possible outcomes of our current consolidations which does not necessarily result in down... and probably have greater chances to reach supra $60k before sub $40k.. perhaps?  perhaps?

Another round number psychological hurdle. As much as traders like to claim they operate on logic they seem mostly to operate on something else. We'll be fighting for every 10k milestone until 100k probably.

Sure it seems to be, and I am not sure where the line would be drawn, but surely Karartma1 would fit into such category, even if he is NOT wearing a hat (hahahahaha)... so we have time in thread and we have post count in thread...

I would not really know how to categorize except suggesting that Karartma1 is "in," and sometimes there might be some newer folks who are participating a lot in the thread - and maybe they may start "acting up" so we might want to suggest whether they are going to "fit" as a "long term" WO based on behavior.. such as shilling some shitcoin or some bullshit like that.

Take dumb ass roach, who many here belove even though he was quite the gold shill, bitcoin basher and whiner.. and perhaps some folks still considered him as a long term WO... and may well be considered as such, if he were to return.. even though he might not be really liked by some other long term WOs... same with some dweeb like jstofl.. sure, that twat might return and still be considered a long term WO.. even though some of us might accuse him of being unbecoming of a long term WO all day long.. but whatever, this thread is almost like bitcoin in the sense that anyone can join, even if they might be dweebs in various regards.. (some folks likely accuse yours truly of being a dweeb, too.. but surely, I am not going to admit to the substantive correctness of those kinds of accusations - even though I will admit to experiencing those kinds of accusations from time to time).

Observing bitcoin price @ $49,410. Hope we can slice through $50,000 like a hot knife through butter today. Fingers are crossed to test new highs very soon.

No we want  sideways action for 5-8 days this will result in a huge swing upwards ripping right through to 50k barrier and over 60k.

Every day of sideways movement is a victory .

We are building a bit of a foundation at this level now, even resisting dumps below 44-45 for no more than a day.

A decent amount of true in dat...

In other words, or another way of saying it, when we experience up and down within a range for a week or longer or even stretching out into several weeks that largely rises to a level of flat when zooming out a wee bit, then BTC buy pressure is able to catch up and to even remain stronger once UPpity price movement happens (presuming that UPpity movement has decent chances of continuing in the near futuretm).

"bla bla bla  ... All things considered, it’s time to clear the way for Bitcoin ETFs."  Grin
https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2021-03-02/personal-finance-bitcoin-tips-scales-in-favor-of-a-u-s-etf

Will this be the year the first ETF is approved?

"Imagine how much more perilous a Bitcoin ETF will seem when the price climbs to $100,000 or more, and how much louder the clamor will be from investors ready to pile into an ETF when it’s finally available."

I guess the news for the ETF with a potential of trillions USD investments, on top of 100K+ price, will be quite a show to watch Wink

yea, they already approved ETFs which are absolutely terrible to investors: UNL, USO, FCG, the list goes on and on.
It would laughable if it wasn't sad to look at this value destruction.

It would be in a few years maybe. My conservative estimates put that between 2025 and 2028.

Can we try to sort through these kinds of crappy headlines, rather than just repeating them?

In other words, what the fuck is O'Leary referring to?

Sure it looks like he might be ONLY investing into bitcoin, but is he investing in ONLY bitcoin, or does he have some kind of diversification into some kinds of shitcoins/"crypto"?

Because if he is ONLY investing into bitcoin, then that should be noted a bit more clearly (no?) - especially for when we are referring to those kinds of matters in this thread, right?, and maybe he could be applauded for investing in ONLY bitcoin if he were to be engaging in some kind of rationale to be join the ranks of the Saylor and Musk type investors into Bitcoin - though there likely are not too many of the BIG institutional kinds of guys that are going to be reaching the "gung-ho" level of Saylor in the near-term, and if O'Leary is somewhat or partially distracted by shitcoins or the concept of "crypto" that should be noted as well, including if it might not be clear in the whole scheme of things about what he is doing, exactly.

For example, with Musk, there is all kinds of hoopla in various discussions in regards to some of Musk's shitcoin tweets, but in the end, it really appears that his company (TESLA) is not so distracted, and they are only investing into bitcoin with their recent use of about $1.5billion in company funds to buy bitcoin.. sure we might not know some of the details including whether they might be still buying or considering more bitcoin buys, but there is also no evidence establishing that the company (TESLA) itself is actually investing in any other crypto besides bitcoin.

So?  What's the deal-lee-O with O'Leary and his investments in bitcoin?  Does there seem to be a difference between what he is saying and what he is doing, or is it merely the reporting on the topic that is convoluting (or diluting) the bitcoin topic?

I wouldn't normally take a look at bitcoin.com (dot com) as that's an altcoiner's site, but I guess news is news. It also appears in other places about Kevin O'Leary.

ignoreList.addEntryByUsername('savetherainforest');

Annoying indeed, and going the way of a more articulated gembitz. In his partial defense, he wasn't always like that. Possible explanations: (a) he got his account stolen (or sold it),  (b) he became a sour nocoiner due to boat accident, mindrusting, thoughtless spending or other reasons, (c) he is overdoing some pleasant poison, in powder or liquid form.

Thanks for pointing that out, eddie.
I mostly got annoyed by the shitcoin talk, amongst other things.
He may become the "old" STRF again, i'll check ignored users from time to time, that's how Marcus_of_Augustus got off my list.
It would be nice to be able to add a note to each ignored user, because i can't remember why i ignored MoA in the first place, while i think it was about racist talk, iirc.
