Sure we do... 4% is better then 2%. Tongue

Zoom out ur lil selfie, Save the RF:

Do you have time for 2,300% in returns, which would be more or less 23x returns on your investment for mere dollar cost averaging of around $100 per week for the past 5 years, which would be the degree of your returns if you had been dollar cost averaging into BTC for the past 5 years - right around the time that you registered your forum account.

Of course, the longer of your investment timeline (history) including DCA buying, the better your returns… at least that has been the case, so far in bitcoin... and there is no real credible reason to believe that bitcoin is not going to continue to be a good investment in the coming 5-10 and longer years, even for peeps just getting started now... .. and surely, you Save the RF have an advantage of having had known about bitcoin for nearly 5 years already.. so you should be well at an advantage if you have been able to actually learn something from your bitcoin experiences and stop getting distracted by short term crap that may or may not work out so well.

Think long term, think bitcoin and think about accumulating BTC by buying regularly (aka DCA) buying on dips, HODLing if you run out of money upon ongoing dips and just doing your best to NOT sell until you have actually met your accumulation goals.  You should be trying to accumulate BTC by selling.. because you need to reach your BTC accumulation goals first... anyhow, never too late...

So look at that chart that I linked above (ok here it is again)  to see that $100 per week over 5 years would have been an investment of $26,100, which would have added up to 12.504 BTC and a current value of $625,200.. Nothing to sneeze at and not even an outrageously high budgetary amount of investing $400 per month over the past 5 years.

I make 100$ once every few minutes. Tongue

*edit():  But sometimes I do wait. For example, 27 January > 18-19 February... it was a good time to just buy and wait till that date. Tongue

This guy is full of shit JJG. Some 2-3 posts ago he claimed he didn't have enough money to BTFD. Now he earns $100 every minute. He deserves to be bat-slapped and forced to read your mantra above all day long every day!  Grin

Hello

Long time lurker here (and on the previous WO threads).

Just to tell you all that I am now debt free (see experience here in French).

I know that I will regret selling in a few months but I think living free of debts is worth it

And I still own enough coins to put some butter on the spinaches.

Bienvenue!

Although not located in France, there are plenty of BTC ATMs located in nearby Italy, Belgium and Spain:

https://shitcoins.club/locations

Last time I looked (not today), many of these machines did not require ID or SMS messaging via cellphone for amounts up to 1000 Euro or so.

This is just becoming too annoying.

ignoreList.addEntryByUsername('savetherainforest');

Prepare to buy the dip at $39K $139K !!! Cheesy Cheesy

Here fixed it for you!  Cool

*edit(): But its obvious that I don't rly want that to happen, cuz that would mean I would have to wait some more so I can sell a bit at $60K. Smiley

Don't worry Save the RF... You can easily earn around $100 every few minutes anyhow, so it's NOT like you won't be able to live decently well in the coming years... just think about it?  you are earning thousands of dollars an hour... so I have not really heard of $1million dollar income people not being in decently good positions - so why should you give any shits about if bitcoin goes down to $39k or up to $60k.. blah blah blah.?

By the way, for some strange reason, your actions and your words are just NOT adding up;.... it's like quasi-incoherent to attempt to follow your ideas (to the extent that you have any ideas beyond your wanting BTC prices to go down to below $40k.. which may well NOT happen.. and it may well be true that today could be amongst the last days to buy below $50k.. not that I really have any ideas.. just suggesting some possible outcomes of our current consolidations which does not necessarily result in down... and probably have greater chances to reach supra $60k before sub $40k.. perhaps?  perhaps?

I give a sh!t because I'm trying to help small new comers as I was when I started and I was listening to this thread but not any of you gave any sh!t to give an actual accurate and decent prediction to help me with my trades in increasing my stash!!! Smiley  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes
But to be fair to all of you posting sh!tfest memes here, some of you did post some charts and I had to learn the hard way to understand and read them. (even if u didn't say bad or good predictions) Smiley

Also for those who are reading what I say, when I say predictions. It might not go to $30K < > $39K. But for now $42K < > $44K is very real from the charts. Tongue  (Then its going Up and down on a spread of 2-3K in case of any of you trade... till around $55K ... then after that I don't know cuz we are not there yet! Tongue )

*edit():  AND I DO NOT F&CKING WANT FOR THE PRICE TO GO DOWN!!! I'm just telling u wtf is happening from the trades I make, and how I see the market moving. And for now there is some kind of shortage of cash or bitcoin.

But for now..... THE BATTLE FOR 44K AWAITS !!! If that holds... then we are going up. Prepare to panic buy on 44K+ if it goes up after a few attempts to break it. Tongue

*edit():  And not everyone is an 'idle hodler' like most of you. Some around here might be active traders or that follow this thread from the shadows like I did for a year or two before joining and creating an account. Smiley

You actually trade on other people's opinions? Seriously? Quickest way to decrease your BTC stash!

And for all the newbies who want to know how to increase your Bitcoin stash. BUY Bitcoin when ever you can.

I don't know about anyone else, but i am here for the meme and hats!

Me Toooooo!!! Cheesy Cheesy

But I did figure out after like a few days that no one here knew jack sh!t about where the price is going and most of them were delusional f^cks that had wishful thinking depending on their political agendas. If they sold they wanted a dip. If they bought a dip, then they wanted the price to rise. It was just that simple. But I have no worries or care, very less if I have to buy back in at 50K or at more then that at a loss. Smiley ... For now the resistance is not breaking and we still need to go down if we want $100K+ soon. Smiley  Grin

Save the RF has always been a bit of a goofball, so I don't understand why you guys would be concluding that his account has been taken over... I challenge any of you to find 10 posts in a row in which there was some kind of sane coherence.. whatever.. its the same goofball just going in somewhat deeper into dumb in recent times about crazy shit and stupid theories (including the religious theme that he had pulled before, and that he is a BIG BALLer that he had pulled before) that he had already thought.

just because he was NOT posting for a decently long time does not mean that he actually had developed normal thoughts or normal behaviors during that time, he just came back and was repeating shit that he had already said previously.

...

Just for the record, I have no idea of what Bitcoin's price will be in any short-term time frame.  In fact, as "FOA" would say (paraphrased): "If I say I can predict the price..., take your children and run away!"  I am not a good "trader", I have proven that to my satisfaction many times over the years.  Bitcoin is really the only exception (among my more speculative investments).

In this run-up in 2021, for example, I have sold a bunch of small "schnitzels" for reasons (grandsons & my new rare earth oxides investment).  But, of those sales, only five of them (out of about 22) were at a BTC price of $50,000 or higher, the lowest price (one small sale) was at $29,000.  Hence (@ JJG), my practice of "Sell DCA-ing", as I have reliably shown that I do not have the ability to sell at the peak.  So, considering my average cost-basis so far of around $6000 (FIFO accounting), that ain't bad.  And, not counting selling some in 2020 and way back in 2017.

Bitcoin has been very good to this non-programmer...   Smiley

When I luck out and BTC quadruples (let's say) in price, I take the gift by selling some.  That has worked out well for me every year that I have SODL (Sell...) even if I did not get a "10-bagger" as if I had known in advance what BTC prices would do.

It's also less risky what I have done even if a LAMBO is not in my future (do you all KNOW how much it costs to maintain cars like that ? ? ?).  Yikes!

*   *   *

Longer term, it really looks like BTC price will go up significantly, that's very likely as more new buyers (current no-coiners of all sorts) enter, and sellers will not sell unless they have lots of incentive (higher prices than now).

Taking profits along the way is a GOOD THING, especially as you get older.  Younger and/or risk-tolerant investors can Buy and HODL for the 10 x gains, sure!

And I still have skin in the game.  As our friend from Toronto says: "Go Bitcoin, Go!"  I'm on the team.  (As I'm sure as well that llama-guy proudhon is as well)

Just a quick FYI, RGB is testing asset transfers on Bitcoin with Client Validated Data.

As I understand it, Client Validated Data allows for things such as smart contracts and NFTs in Bitcoin. I need to delve into it more but this supposedly can be done via the Lightning Network. By validating on the client side, it does not require the data to be kept on the blockchain.

I'm going to try to get on the zoom call tomorrow where they go over some wallet implementations. But I think this could be something revolutionary.

The reason I am interested in it is I believe we could have a stablecoin asset on the lightning network utilizing the Bitcoin blockchain such that all of the world's currencies can be upgraded to work on the Lightning Network under a single protocol. Which would eventually lead to people just leaving their nation's currencies behind as they realise that it's better to just keep your money in bitcoin. Which will now have smart contract capabilities allowing for decentralized exchanges of those currencies.

Wether this cycle has played itself out or not, I believe the next cycle will be the last one...nobody will care about the price. It will be a race to not be the last one holding worthless legacy fiat.

I would totally sell my account if it came to that. I checked how much my account was worth once and I figured if things get too bad I at least have that to fall back on. Better than going back to an 8 to 5 job. I'd sell my signature line but I don't post enough in the rest of the forum and would not want to waste my days posting just to make a few bucks a day.

It's not really bias, and it's not even a witch trial, even if you are wanting to spin it like such.

It is like you are full of shit, but you want to frame it as if those of us speaking contrary to your largely incoherent mumblings are out to get you or we are biased in our thinkings..

you are the one who is biased and seeing what you want to see, as you have already mentioned several times... so I don't know why you continue to argue, except you just want to spout out some low probability scenario and then if it happens to come true, then you can proclaim that you are smarter than everyone else because the vast majority disagreed with your wishful thinking guess...

Protip  (I understand that you are not going to listen, but so fucking what, this is a public thread):  Even if you end up being correct, in your wishful thinking guess about the BTC price going down to sub $40k or whatever other pie in the number you have recently chosen, that does not mean shit.. your analysis is non-existing and you are just throwing out a wish target number

Anyway, it was just my honest opinion about what I saw.

No its not..... you are just making shit up and hoping to get some attention at the same time.. and sure some peeps in this thread are probably mad at me for responding to you... but I give few shits.

The price was too scarce at the top and there was some sort of panic to sell.

Of course, make some more shit up to back up your hopenings.

People just don't feel confident while trading for higher prices.

People?  You mean the "royal we?"... or otherwise just imaginary people that you are suggesting to be representative regarding anything except for what you are selectively searching for.. those kinds of lacking in confidence peeps?
