i love this space talk in WO. before i was born men went to the moon. and everyone expected us to be in space by the year 2000.

fuck, that is two decades ago. i am over 50 now and the most interesting things that happened during my life time regarding the space frontier is elon musk sending a tesla towards mars and a team of female scientists from india successfully sending a probe to mars with a smaller budget than the movie the martian. (well ok, there were the voyager probes and the hubble telescope, too)

in general i feel a bit betrayed regarding human endeavors in space. whatever happened to the future?

and dont come with the "we must first fix all the problems on earth before we can go to space" silly argument. we will never be able to "solve all problems". in fact, entering space age will actually help solving problems.

bitcoiners! let´s go the moon. l i t e r a l l y  !

funding? are you kidding me? if one elwar can fund a cruise ship, then 10 000 bitcoiners can fund a space ship. for fuck sake, we even have elon and richard (branson) already on board!!1!

a nice trade: humanity is handing over all the money to us (already in the making) and we bring humanity in to space. the final frontier.

let´s do it.

Probably you are currently disappointed with "progress" because the moon landing thing did not happen.. so there is a lot of backtracking in terms of trying to get to the technology level that had already supposedly been achieved.. though I am not doubting that quite a bit of the technology that was proclaimed to exist in the late 60s and early 70s did actually exist and had been developed at levels close to "getting to the moon" levels, and sure there were likely some non-disclosed technologies along the way that at made up for some of the "not getting to the moon" actualities...

But whatever, I don't really care.. whatever, got to the moon.. did not get to the moon.. I am not against continuing to attempt to develop those kinds of exploration, but surely seems to be pie in the sky for even very young folks to be believing that they can actually escape earth and have quality of life within their lifetimes.. even though nothing really wrong with aspiring so long as some of the realistic aspects are kept in account in terms of how valuable the earth systems are and how difficult they would be to attempt to replicate in even the most hospitable of locations outside of the blue/green ball.    Tongue Tongue

Resistance seems to be at 52K. If it can break through that solidly we might have a very positive weekend and rest of March.

You are absolutely right.

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/ukkFaf7S-BITCOIN-Can-we-see-100k-in-May-A-crazy-fractal/

Resistance.. who fucking cares?  She will break through when ready.

In essence, we cannot really know the extent to which buying pressure is caught up.. and that could take a bit of time to really figure out... so sure, how many times does the bottom need to be tested.. and sure, how low is the bottom, and sure should it (or can it?) be tested again... blah blah blah.. takes time to figure out and takes time to figure out if perhaps a few more weak hands might be shake-out-able.. and is any of the Defi bullshit and lending out your bitcoin and the various scams around that creating any bitcoin froth that could be weeded out a bit.. not sure if connected enough and if some of those hands might need to have some shakenings?  Including that Ethereum (unmentionable shitcoin) continues with a lot of bullshit smokening and mirrorening regarding their supposed ongoing/upcoming shift to blah blah blah whatever.. so there could be some froth shakenings that could be worthy and even tie into king daddy to some extent that could come from those attempted to be hidden corners of bitcoinlandia...

Good Morning WOvians ... So we had a huge dump from our friend the fuck2pool again this night to get the price down under 50k ... luckly we closed yesterday over 50k. We had a nice breakout to the upper side of the bull-flag ... and it seems to be goingupwarts until a bigger dump cam up. My suggestion is again a couple of thousands corns were dumped from fuck2pool ...

Let them dump.. who cares?  Sooner or later it is not going to matter.. how many coins you believe are NOT able to be absorbed by dee king?  a million?  Does dey gots a million coins to dump?  If they don't then who cares?  And if they do who cares>   If they gots a million coins to dump, then surely the BTC price is going below $20k, probably even below the 208-week moving average that happens to be approaching $9,700, but hey, seems to me that such dumpening of coins and suppressing of the BTC price is quite likely to be just temporary, especially in times like dees in which we likely be going UPpity..for a wee bit longer....

...

willy woo says that glassnode data that checks the pool sales on exchanges does not at all hint any big f2pool sell.

Yeah ... maybe not the fool directly, but a participant. Where do you think went the 8400 Coins from yesterday? And yesterday we had a dump right the time we hit nearly 52k ... This thing goes on and on the last 2 week.
It's the only pool who has this huge amount of outflow.

But it's all a coincedence, that these dumps happen right after the pool flushes coins like confetti.

Seems a bit strange that you have such a penchant to focus on one thing as if it were the ONLY thing that matters, even when its factual grounding has been brought into question by a credible source... namely willywoo...

Sure I am not suggesting to listen to "credible" sources, but from your own questionable flippy floppy and pie in the sky speculation record in these here parts, I doubt that you are providing reliable information in these here parts when you are spouting out single-factor price fear (or hope) theories.

The best thing that can happen to bitcoin is that we have fewer whales and a lot more minnows.

That would be awesome! I totally agree...

World (including king daddy) no doesn't work like dat.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Can't you just point it there, fire a thruster, and let it go it's course? (I mean, calculate where it should end up, but yeah, basically go towards the sun.)

Nope. I think Larry Niven covered this too, prolific guy. You either speed it up, which takes it to a higher orbit or slow it down which takes it to a lower orbit. To take it to an orbit low enough to burn up in the sun, you need to slow it down the whole amount that the earth is orbiting the sun (about 67000 mph). There's a little bit of fudge in this due to eliptical orbits and drag from the sun's atmosphere but that's the basic principle. Essentially anything you fire into the sun is going to get there on a spiral path.

Correct. I really recommend reading up on the Messenger probe that went to Mercury, it needed an insane amount of fuel and a number of earth and venus flybys to slow down enough to even get to mercury. In space speeding up takes energy, slowing down takes energy, everything takes energy :-)

So, that last part, spend a little energy to throw something to the sun, then let it be.. It's going to spiral and never really get there and just be some space debris / comet?

I'd imagine if we have like a bunch of stuff (remember very old superman movie with nuclear bomb rockets in a large bundle that he just threw to the sun), but then that whole thing must be very heavy.

20 years ago I had a young brother-in-law that was intelligent, but a general goof-off at life. He worked throwing trash into a truck. He won 2 million at one shot in a casino, he immediately quit his job. I imagined he would blow it on beer and monster trucks.

He had two children whose baby mamas came out of the woodwork after him (he was paying nothing) for years of no support. Later I looked him up in his state's online court search. There were several court actions against him from financial institutions, and a few other things that I attributed to bad spending habits.

The last I heard he lost it all and was throwing trash into a truck. Still going to the casino, "because he's lucky".

I was hoping for a more happy ending, but hey, it is what it is....    Cry

Ive been wanting to take time off but I cant until my exit, bounce buy, bounce sell, and re-entry from the crash

You are assuming you will be able to exit at the top.... how?
Trailing stop, or something like that. Right now I keep manually adjusting my stop to important levels I know would not be good to break like right now it is 18500.

Even if I miss it it'll still create huge waves I'll be able to trade and waves in altcoins that I can margin trade regardless of my position.

Lack of Tera2 in this thread is approaching distressing levels. Who will make the topcall within 5% ??

Ridiculous.. tera2 did not make such a topcall within 5%...   Snap out of it, pop back into reality and stop trying to proclaim sorcery status upon someone who was merely a persistent bear caller.  We have a lot of them, and Tera was one of them.

In 2017, she (Tera) came back to the thread after a decently long absence, then the she started calling the top almost immediately around $2k-ish.. and she kept calling the top every week or so thereafter.. and every once in a while she would assert that it is not the top and it will go up a bit more before going down (surely it was already going up when she proclaimed it was going to go up), and then again, soon thereafter, she would proclaim that a top was reached.. and sure, sooner or later you are going to be correct, when you are calling the top at nearly every point possible.

And, sure there are some seemingly smart people here who worship her, but then they likely have a kind of penchant for technical analysis and technical proclamations.. even if they are wrong as much as they are right..

75-80k. once we get there put in a stop at 65k

Case in point..   Almost always we have Tera2 wannabes or sorcerer wannabes... not like that is going to stop, and sure some of them will end up being more right than others, which to me seems like a BIG so fucking what?

Sorcerer wannabes like masterluc? Haven't heard from that guy for a long time. His fans are also gone?  Grin

I had a kind of "friend" pestering me the other day about some matters that would have irritated me a lot more previously in terms of some "treats" that I could buy her, and I gave almost no resistance to her irritating desire to use me as an ATM, and I said o.k.  Let's go get those "things you absolutely need,"  and almost amazing how "happy" she was for a couple of days.. even though hardly any skin off my back, relatively speaking I did not even really mind very much... and probably 4-5 years ago, I would have not spent money in that way, and I probably would have been a bit bothered by being solicited in that direction.

Oh, that reminds me, I had another "friend" who wanted to go shopping with me, and she had some particular items in mind that she "really needed."  I just made up some various excuses because I did not want to go shopping, and I also made up a kind of reason that she needed to receive the money (because it was "very important to me too" blah blah blah), and then I gave her like twice the amount of money that she told me that she would need for such item(s), and at the same time, I was "saved" from going shopping... still funny about the whole situation.. and really not any kind of inconvenience for me.. maybe less inconvenient than going shopping with her and then trying to figure out how to keep her within budget when in this case, in current times, the amount felt like pocket change to me, but more than double of what she was expecting...

Sorry to say you've just made a rod for your own back. Two of em.
