Edging enhances the feeling you get when it finally blows. It's well worth the wait.
Now this post is a school example of why the #nohomo disclaimer was invented.

Just finished watching a shitty movie. Was so bad I just had to finish it to see "how low can it go?" Was made in Oz and called "I, Portrait". Save yourselves 1h 19m and skip this trash.
Back to observing corn, and I see we've had a Euro-ATH again (48,250.8 €, Kraken).
$60k by end of Friday? Possible. $60k by end of weekend? Probable. $60k by end of March. A certainty!
I like the smell of rain forest trees burning...
Onwards & upwards!
HoDL.

OW COME ON!!! Edging $58k is killing me Edging enhances the feeling you get when it finally blows. It's well worth the wait. Edging is one of the best inventions of humanity. Until you have been edged properly you really have not experienced a true ATH. I am asking for BTC to be edged and teased with great care for days maybe weeks on end. The spike when it lets loose will be the longest green candle ever done or seen in the history of the human race. In the mean time I may leak a bit and sell 100 USD worth. Much like a tiny drop of well you know pre ATH

Updating the old graph... almost 1 year anniversary of the big crash... Gold is heading back to 'normal' levels of $1600, while BTC is Off. The. Charts.
Wealth Manager: How is your Bitcoin thingy going then? Me: Not bad. Do you remember when you asked me to buy $250 index-funds monthly and I said no? WM: Yeah, I remember. I am sorry you didn't do that as we have a consolidated 12% yearly return. Me: Yeah, you're right. I am sorry I don't know the exact figures of my btc yearly return as it is Off. The. Charts. 12% yearly is pretty damned good for traditional investments (of course bitcoin beats that in almost any timeline of any kind of significant timespan of 4 years or more). I know JJG but when you get exposed to Bitcoin, the simple idea of having to deal with traditional investments is a pain in the ass. Can't really deal with that anymore. I am surely not going to argue in regards to each person trying to figure out exactly where s/he is going to go in terms of either getting an initial allocation into bitcoin and then figuring out some maintenance targets into bitcoin. So of course if you already have quite a few investments when you hear about bitcoin, you would likely NOT just move all of them into bitcoin right away, especially if you had established those various positions for 25 years or so. On the other hand, you may study the matter and over the years, put more and more into bitcoin, and if you have been using a consultant, then it might not be too unusual to at least put some of the value into the recommendations of the consultant. I had never gotten too warmed up to consultants over my years investing, even though there were times in which I went to sessions in which consultants were advertising their services - and sure some people might put some of their investments with the consultants and some people stick with consultants their whole lives and feel relatively good about the whole arrangements. So, yeah, some of us have likely gotten spoiled by bitcoin, but sure, even with bitcoin some of us took a while to come around to it, and whether some of us might end up being too invested in bitcoin might be a product of time and our personal circumstances to sort out (and find out) the extent that we might have been better off with some variation in our investment approach. By the way, one of my investments is a kind of 401k..so it's not exactly 100% liquid even though I have had various options over the years in regards to it, and I have told the story before that in 2014 I had been considering whther to liquidate part of my 401k and put it into bitcoin, and I had decided that I had enough in bitcoin.. and another thing is that the value of my bitcoin ended up matching the value of my 401k in about late 2016 and then later surpassing it by multiples even though I invested only a fraction of the amount into bitcoin as I had invested in my 401k.. but I never did diversify out of my 401k.. My 401k still continues to be there and could even sustain me, even though it dwarfs the size of my bitcoin value... and I have no regrets about my various decisions even though I can think about ways that I could have profited way the fuck more, but I don't care because I already profited way more than I expected within any kind of moderately bullish BTC scenario, but the reality ends up playing out even more bullish.

Yep... looks pretty bad. ... especially if you HODL few bitcoin bags or none - if you sold too much BTC too early or you failed/refused to buy BTC.It's exciting to be watching a double top reversal collapse play out in real-time.
#me too... Really sucks in an exciting kind of way. Thought this thread was mostly just for a bit of fun, I never read the rules. It's pretty much the only thing I look at on the forum.
Feel free to browse through my post history. It might enlighten you. Yeah.. you suck, CT... #nohomoYou mean if they bought bitcoin for $1,200, then later down the road they would have ended up getting "cryptocurrency"? Fuck me. That would not be good. Don't sign me up for that one.

Would you trust your bank with your bitcoin to earn interest?
What's a bank? That some kind of old-timey institution grandpa used? It depends on the age of the grandpa we’re talking about, the ones I know hate banks and they don’t get bitcoin but at least invest in hard assets like land and gold so it’s not as bad, their children however, yikes, they invest mostly in paper assets, it seems economic talent does in fact skip a generation as their grandchildren invest in bitcoin and solve their future before their parents.

Good times like this I'm reminded of those that really put it all on the line. Like this guy who sold his house for bitcoin, 7 years ago. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=508254.0

How many acres total now?
Getting up to near 140 acres now. Already have our eyes on the next (fourth) parcel we are looking to absorb, but want to break ground first on what we have before going even crazier. Ended up deciding we're going to continue leasing the first parcel of land to cattle ranchers, and the third parcel we are buying will continue to lease out to cotton farmers after putting in access to our property. Want to play nice with the local folk there, and not upset their balance too much. Cool. Bitcoin cotton plantation owners. Keep those tenant farmers working! Also ranchers. I'm getting mental images halfway between "Bonanza" and "Gone With the Wind". ___ Seriously, it's nice to have your spread providing revenues in addition to your retirement pleasures... also the satisfaction of seeing your land producing food and clothing and contributing to the local economy. As we like to say: Thank you Bitcoin.
