Are we in one of pseudo-stable periods for btc?
It is possible, but honestly, I don't get the hesitation at 58K, it's a number of no clear significance.
Maybe it harks back to the 53K number, which is a $1 tril market cap.
Obviously, we are over that one, but not by much.

OT: It looks like NVAX vaccine is 96.4% effective in the UK trial. It will probably be approved soon.
This is a more conventional vax, no mRNA in the composition.
Overall, much better than AZ.
I am not sure why they only tested in UK.

this level we are now is about 3 times of the old ATH.

Old ATH is above 58K in Feb, 20K is old-old ATH, which we traversed long time ago.
Still, it generally follows S2F so far.

Good afternoon Bitcoinland and Happy Mindrust Day.

Let's enjoy the fact that we've gone up 1400% in the last 365 days... currently $57304USD/$71468CAD (Bitcoinaverage), up from, $3850 (Stamp) a year ago.

Many people who weren't even millionaires a year ago are multi-millionaires now.

It's been a good year and there's no sign of it slowing down.

Go Bitcoin go.

The US government is becoming increasingly hostile towards its own citizens. This won't end well.

What's your short target? I see 55k is a good support but is it strong enough? Do you expect lower?

"The value of Bitcoin fell"

Then came back within like 10 minutes. Congratulations CFTC, you made a blip.

You can pretty much assume that the US government is "investigating" pretty much every aspect of the crypto market trying to find a weakness. That's why you don't put your money on a centralised system that the US government can get its dirty hands on.

The crash is continuing. 2021 is not going to be a good year for bitcoin. Can I get a "confirm"?

I certainly hope 2021 will continue to be as disastrous as it has been so far. Math and science seem to point that way!

Big picture people, big picture!

I need to raise funds for a down payment. If it ends today much higher I'll probably end up selling for less than I could have gotten just waiting to market sell today. If it ends lower than 54k I'll collect all the premium without selling anything. If it stays under 56k and over 54k I'll sell some for a good price and have some contracts expire worthless. I guess I can sell puts next week because it looks like its going to stay above 56k.

Looks like someone lost some BTC today.

Stop jerking us around and gib $60k already!?

How about $27K? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

OMG I can't believe this guy was wrong so many times and he just keeps on failing... he's on a fail streak. What a failure! And you want to make us believe you own how many cardboard fridge boxes?   Grin

Observing 58.000$ Again... Smiley ...

Selling again... soon... Cheesy Cheesy

Well... 27K might not happen, cuz I meme that. But I'm still hanging on 41K. Tongue

Oh gawd.  We all know that a variety of price might happen, and part of the reason that peeps engage in incrementalism kinds of behaviors is to attempt to hedge - but for the most part, peeps frequently fail/refuse to hedge enough to the UPside, rather than towards the downside.

In other words, you come off as a disingenuine troll... and so how much you making?  You could not be engaging in this spreading of nonsense for free could you?  Do you have any other names that you go by?

By the way, I don't have any problems to have buy orders on the way down, and I still have buy orders down to $9,500-ish... and I am thinking that in the future, I am going to maintain my buy orders down to the 208-week moving average, which is currently approaching $10k.... but as many of us know our current trend in BTC continues to be UPpity, so anyone playing a DOWNity game is likely going to get reckt - which you are promoting that peeps reck their lil selfies, Save the RF (surely, I doubt that you are actually making market orders that are consistent with your dumb-ass calls, so your representations are largely lame-ass attempts to get others to follow your suggestion - and yeah since there are always newbies and weak-hands who get scared relatively easily, there may be some newbies/weak hands who end up being inspired by your baloney).

Regarding when the top of the price move comes.. or the top of the cycle, none of us can really be sure about that.. so whether this $50k to $60k ends up being the top, or BTC prices go into a $100k to $1.5 million range for the top of this cycle is NOT easy to know for sure.. so good to prepare in either direction while still keeping in mind that so many peeps fail to sufficiently pee pare their lil selfies for UPpity.. which may not even take a whole lot of capital/value in order to have and maintain a sufficient enough (reasonable and prudent) BTC stash that allows you to be pee pared for both directions - and especially UPpity, just in case this BTC thingie-ma-jiggie might happen to catch on.
