The Pi Cycle Top Indicator makes me worry too much. We are crossing it any day now. And it precisely predicted all market tops so far. Whats your thoughts? This time is different? One possibility is we will have a double top like in 2013. Thats what I am expecting. A bullrun in April, Crash and sideways through summer. Parabolic end of the year. https://www.lookintobitcoin.com/charts/pi-cycle-top-indicator/Possible, but at some point all those numerical indicators would stop working as almost any other numerical indicators (NUPL, etc.). The scenario of a local high in April, then down, then flat, then up in the Fall on the other hand is quite possible. I have difficulty seeing us topping when we are going up a few % a day; it becomes much more possible, and even likely if we pop to 80-90K in a short time frame (like a week). One possibility is clear: WS will push btc up when Coinbase listing date would be announced, then the day before, they would likely sell some btc and buy COIN the following day. Some volatility is to expected there.

Yet another off-topic movie recommendation: Tenet (2020) [Action, Sci-Fi, Thriller]Be prepared for a unique, mind-bending, powerfully entertaining experience. Must be watched a second time to fully appreciate the finer details and non-linearity of the plot. A good watch, esp. for Christopher Nolan fans!
My phone kept bleeping throughout the movie, because of Bitcoin's multiple 50k € crossings. I was expecting the price to be just a little higher than it is now, perhaps a Euro-ATH, but hey, who am I to know? Let's not be too greedy now. $60k by the coming weekend, $65k next week. Then an ETF will be approved, or some other big player will get in Tesla-style, and bang! $80k and we'll be posting "Come on, Bitcoin, do something!" memes. Life's great. Thank you, Bitcoin.

As long as the next blip is higher than the blip before, i'd call this an uptrend. Every blowoff drop was bought a last time, but this didn't even compensate the decrease in price right after the cycle top. Yet another off-topic movie recommendation: Tenet (2020) [Action, Sci-Fi, Thriller]I enjoyed this one too, i have watched it two times.

I don't know, sorry. I downloaded it via Torrent (1080p, 5.1 surround sound) and played it via Plex on my Home Cinema. For those planning to watch it, do it on a good system (large screen, good sound, lights out). You may also like to enable subtitles, as things happen fast.

Some volatility is to expected there. Yes NUPL is another indicator I am watching closely. And it did not come down as much as it should have been after the 60k correction. I agree, we could see a crazy run up to 80-90k in April and then correct and sideways through summer. Stock to flow was showing $100k about a month ago. Now its down to $85k. https://www.lookintobitcoin.com/charts/stock-to-flow-model/200 week moving average is also showing the red dots are near https://www.lookintobitcoin.com/charts/200-week-moving-average-heatmap/Lets see. This time I will take some profit to hopefully buy back after a big correction. The shock crash from 2017/18 still sits deep, where everybody was saying this time its different. And if it will not correct below I sold, I took some profits after 8 years of hodl. Thats also nice. Diversify a little since I am still 98% into BTC and 2% into alts.

I find it funny that Tether claims that their coins have always been fully backed and they use this report to make their claims more legitimate, when the report itself states that while they find that Tether is fully backed they can only make that assertion for the date in which the report was made and not before or after.
Gotta say, if they are running a scam (and I definitely think it's likely), you gotta wonder where they think they're going to hide when it's time to make their exit.

Tenet was interesting but I don't think it quite pulled it off. Something of an impossible task in the first place though.

So remember we are FARMING...when the price goes up for the land you don't rush out and sell the frigging farm. You ride the dips. Buy more land, and thus become an even more successful farmer! (sorry, had a few...seems logical at this moment) Brad

+4 UTC/GMT.... time zones are always confusing.... how bitcoin will solve this? Let say if someone from other side of the world let say USA is suppose to pay me 1 BTC on 31st March at 9AM in morning... so that means I won’t get anything until 9PM in the evening at least?? and who knows that time 1 BTC will be where. (Yes yes I agree 1BTC = 1BTC) but the problem is still there, I needed that 1BTC in morning 9AM? So how?

You are wrong. You are wrong _______: ..... And you are wrong ________. ......sources with (blah blah blah)! It is time for empirical evidence! P.S., I almost ....... P.P.S., why ....... Edit: You will argue with me about....... Hahahahahaha One thing that is so "great" about you, nullius,... is that you will argue about the dumbest irrelevant and off-topic shit... it is unwise to fuck with me.[/size]
That statement kind of reminds me of a real world interaction that I had fairly recently. Before I left the area (and I was going to return a few hours later), I was providing some advice to a fairly delusional person.. (well, now, I consider that person to be a bit delusional because of a number of recent interactions that took place in a fairly short period of time, including the interaction that I am outlining here). I said something like: "Think about some of the things that you have been doing recently and some of the choices that you have been making. I have stated my preferences, but you continue to make choices and say things that do not even seem to be attempting to address my preferences. In that regard, your words, your actions and your choices about what to do or not do "have consequences," and so you should attempt to consider that by the time that I get back and you will have made some more choices about what to do or what not to do." Within about an hour of my coming back (which would have been about 4 hours later), the person came up to me, and the first thing that I said was why are you looking so angry? Do you know how to smile? Soon thereafter such person described my earlier comments in regards to "consequences" was a threat, and proclaimed that I should not be threatening towards that person. I did explain that my comment was not a threat, it was just a statement about actions and words having consequences, and I did make a few more efforts to smooth over the matter a bit more, including the recognition that the person was getting worse and worse and worse (angry and emotional) over a very short period of time, but the person continued with an accusatory tone towards me, which pretty much ended up in consequences.. just like I had suggested earlier... and sure, I thought that such person had a pretty decent and good arrangement with me, but benevolence from me will ONLY go so far, when someone goes down a path of exaggeration and an inability to NOT become overly emotional about certain "normal" interactions... Anywhoooo just telling a little story.. for funzies...

I find it funny when I read Bounty/Signature campaigns proudly highlight
Posts on the Wall Observer won’t be counted. I mean why? Why??
Because we're harder to shill here. No. Don’t fool yourself with such conceit. The stupendously obvious reasons: - The Wall Observer does not display signatures. Why do you suppose that signature ad campaigns would pay people to make posts that do not display, um, signatures?
- There is no rule against consecutive multi-posting here; and many other rules are relaxed. If CMs counted WO posts, then regardless of whether signatures are displayed here, sigspammers would bury infofront in so much spam that he would be crushed to death. The CMs want to avoid being charged with murder.
hahahahaha Sigs were allowed here before infofront took over and there was a petition and a vote and all that after admins shut down the thread. I personally believe that they could have continued to allow sigs here.. but whatever.. I stated the case several times, and admins have their discretion in regards to such matters.
However, there are other problems that may affect the price in a negative way. The first problem is how exactly the 650K BTC's held by Grayscale will be managed if the premium continues to be negative. Will they apply for an ETF and somehow transfer the BTC's in the ETF market? There is a chance that the things may go wrong for awhile and thus causing some panic in the spot market. The other big problem is that the high expectations may lead to another Dec. 2017 buble like increase that may end just as badly. People thought that the cash settled futures will have a positive impact on the price. Then the great dissapointment came. A similar thing happened when Bakkt started. So there may be some drawbacks after all. Hopefully they will not bring another 2-year bear winter. But once the ETF market becomes fully operational, we can expect at least several trillions $ invested in BTC for a short time of 1-2 years perhaps. And the best scenario is everything to go smoothly with an extended multi year bull market. I think the odds for that are much greater because of the new big players, who don't seek a quick profit.
It wasn't popular but it was pointed out. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2730822.0One thing is having goals to "tame it" and another thing is actually achieving such aspirations. None of us are actually conceding that they are going to be successful in "taming" bitcoin are we? I think that many of us are proclaiming that they are going to try hard as fuck, and some of them might end up getting reckt along the way, no? Hahahahaha You will never learn, you dumb fuck. Sure if you keep repeating your dumb ass sales, sooner or later you will be correct (if you have any money left), but surely, it seems a much prudent and practical move to accumulate BTC.. but instead, you are smarter than everyone else.. so may as well continue to play Russian roulette.. or is it called martingale?.. you dumb fuck Might not be good, Richy... On the one side such an alarm might cause panic or alternatively premature ejection from bed.
I haven't flexed my Android programming muscles in a while. I might give it a go anyway. Good luck.. The world needs experimenters, inventors and guinea pigs....
O/T (but nice!)
Ahh, the good things one can learn here this forum...
I had wondered what might happen to my passphrase-protected ("13th Word") Trezor wallet were their servers ever to go down. Turns out that Wasabi Wallet can back up Trezor wallets even when they use the "13th Word" (passphrase), which I did not know until kindly explained to me over there in the Wallets threads.
You have to jump through some hoops (install Trezor Suite which allows bech32 addresses (bc1q.....) so Wasabi & Trezor can exchange info), but it all works. I set-up a dummy account, and it works.
Nice tool for backing up a Trezor if/when it comes to that. Recommended!

So, when do we leave these boring $57,xxx numbers?
Link or it did not happen, OROBTC!!!! Or maybe the more important/accurate answer was provided by AlcoHoDL, anyhow. Perhaps? Perhaps?
