One of them wants to show me how magnets stick to their arm now. Wish I was making it up
I am sorry, but he is full of s-t, you can tell him that your friend who has PhD in Biology with 20+ year experience in genetics told you so. However, if his arm is sweaty, a magnet very well might stick, but it is a property of water (high surface tension) and not any "magnetizing". Superstition squared. That's exactly what I thought and intended to call BS as well. So, you know anything about magnetofection? Source looks valid and they're talking the same language (mrna) but I'm not Biology savvy. Without understanding this rabbit hole, here's another which at least speaks a little of my language. 'Conspiracy' peeps are looking to connect dots with the soon to be 5G tech for a narrative. Would love to tell them to blow it out their ass but it seems wiser to remain objective for now.

Friend of the family is now blind 1 day after the Sputnik injection, and in our community we are getting quite a few reports of strokes just days or weeks after receiving other brands. One of them wants to show me how magnets stick to their arm now. Wish I was making it up

The vaccine work is just like giving the answers to the crossword rather then any grander revolutionary solution. Perhaps the speed at which they did it could also be criticized and called out on either side but just supplying the answers or signature to your immune system before it ever meets the real virus copy is the basics of why its worked before and again now. That much isnt worth disputing, could maybe be proven just in a test dish even without the people. The big negative I was waiting for in potential was mutation past the vaccine but so far Ive not heard its changed enough to outdo the prepared immune defense via vaccine. They should be very careful with isolated populations of animals which are vulnerable like monkeys I guess and some other animals, a good reason to stop destroying areas of long term natural habitation. Bitcoin averages are in the same area converging, not quite with 50 day but I think this will meet the 200 day this week. Fast ma, weekly, monthly, yearly hems the lows Its awaiting a conclusion but for now I think its range bound in a box, contained till it acquires the energetic reasons to break out. W
I had a big trend down like that and somehow it didnt break till last autumn, was only one of many different drawn so more of a hindsight thing that we really rose alot after losing that negative. Any longer trend counts more I think the number of points touched defines the most valid conclusive line

Look at how the media is pushing the vaccine so hard and not reporting the side effects or deaths from the vaccine. They say they don't want to report on the side effects because it will discourage people from getting the vaccine but shouldn't we make up our own minds with all available information? It is looking like there will be more deaths from the vaccine than COVID by the time this is done.
It's being pushed because it um...works. Vaccines are like that, they have made diseases like whooping cough and measles and rubella and other nightmares a fading memory. They made tetanus into something that is like "what?" instead of a pretty common death sentence. They make shit work, and they do work. Death rates from Coivid have fallen like a rock with vaccination (ok, and getting rid of those stupid Trump death rallies) in place. Don't compare this vaccine to the vaccines for whopping cough, measles, rubella and other nightmares because it is not the same. This is not your father's vaccine. This new mRNA vaccine does not provide sterilizing immunity against SARS-COV2 virus. Sterilizing immunity means you don't carry the virus and you can't transmit the virus. The vaccines for the disease you mention (and other nightmares) were different animals. This new vaccine will give partial immunity and will likely slow the spread but it doesn't guarantee immunity. Fully vaccinated people are getting the virus. It would seem to follow that if they can still get it, they can still transmit it but we won't know until it happens and I believe it will. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/alberta/article-covid-19-outbreak-at-calgary-hospital-linked-to-delta-variant-grows-to/ That is a link to an article that says 10 of the 22 people in Calgary, Alberta, Canada who are presently infected the the Delta variant (from India) were fully vaccinated. edit: added a table I found for Ontario, Canada

I'm checking out Sphynx.chat which @jack just tweeted about.
It appears to be a way to chat over LN. I know they were working on that technology but I did not realise that it was implemented.
Does anyone know much about the tech behind it? Is it truly all living on the LN or is it reliant upon the Sphynx server?
It is truly LN native. But there are "custodial" plans that the Sphinx folks sell. You can run your own server. Most of the Lightning node in a box distros offer it. I am doing HUGE transaction volume based on this tech through my node since i have set my fees to zero when going to the podcastindex node (Adam Curry). Breez has also implemented some crossover stuff... not the chatting, but the podcast/streaming stuff. Very cool. Which would mean it's an uncensorable chat system... I think it's time I set up a Lightning Node. I've just been using custodial stuff but the time has come. My former maid just asked my wife about Bitcoin since she's from El Salvador. I need to figure out the best way for her to get paid over the LN and send it to her family without being too complicated. Strike is not available here in Panama yet. I would be delighted to help with this. And I have some simple suggestions. Forgive me if you do not want them. Wallets: Non-Custodial: Breez, Phoenix Custodial: Wallet of Satoshi, Bluewallet The reason to even consider a custodial wallet (for the receiving family) is for simplicity and security. It ties your account to an email address so a lost phone is not the end of the world. Breez backs up to google drive (I do not find this acceptable for a "grandma" level user). Phoenix backs up to a 12 word seed. Maybe better than Breez, but still not grandma level. The security tradeoffs are the question here. It's too bad strike does not work in Panama yet because it offers several advantages. It is tax free. You pay in USD which avoids tax implications, and it is drop dead simple. But since it is not an option, I would look at coinos.io. It can be custodial, or you can point it at your own node(s). You send it some BTC (or L-BTC) and you can just send that out over lightning to whatever wallet they choose. Anyway, You might already have this all under your belt... but I have done a LOT of work with lightning and I know my way around it by now. My tolerance for trade offs may also be higher than yours. I would think sending lightning size amounts of money do not need base layer type security guarantees. I would suggest WoS for the recipient just because there is the most chance they know someone who uses it... Anyway feel free to reach out if I can help! I started my deep dive into Lightning Network so I will definitely have questions. I've used WoS already to at least play around with sending LN transactions as a hot wallet. I just started looking at running a node. I watched a video on Umbrel and it seems pretty well set up. My question would be, would I be able to do some sort of custodial wallet for my friends and family that I want to help out? Like let them point to my server and they have some sort of channel on their phone wallet. In a way that they don't have access to my funds but they can use my node at no cost. Yes. You can do that. You can let them use your node. I think this model is going to be common as people start doing this before the whole thing becomes more commercialized (BANKS!!?! ) Trusting someone in your life that you can... well, trust. The only tricky bit is you need either a static IP or use a dynamic DNS service and open up some ports on your router. You should know it is not without risks. Anytime you offer an internet service it is a vulnerability etc... Something else to consider is whether or not you want to run the node behind TOR. If you do you want to START that way, because once you have run the node attached to a real IP, then a switch to TOR will be less beneficial as that IP will stay historically associated with your node. Tor vs. Clearnet is another whole topic really... I have run both kinds.

In practicality, 100 microliters (0.1 ml) of injection, EVEN if it were those particles (they are not!) could not make anyone magnetized due to the dilution effect (by a factor of 1:50000, counting only blood volume and nothing else). TL;DR: magnetic nanoparticles are for the use of magnets in cell transfection, nothing else. Using them for mRNA vaccines makes no sense as nobody is being asked to go through a gigantic magnet afterwards, are they?

The vaccine provides little to no protection from COVID-19.
Cite data supporting this point pls. Well sure enough vaccine alone does not protect you against catching a COVID-19 virus. Vaccine gives your body and your immune systems to fight against the virus and win against it faster. Your recovery will be fast and your chances of falling ill will be reduced. COVID-19 vaccines teach our immune systems how to recognize and fight the virus that causes COVID-19 That means it’s possible a person could be infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 just before or just after vaccination and still get sick. This is because the vaccine has not had enough time to provide protection. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/facts.html
