I think that one of the things that you are telling me is that you are not DCA’ing in Bitcoin because lump sum is better.. and you are waiting on a “down opportunity”,  but if the BTC price does not go down from here, you are just going to suck it up, even though you could have bought more BTC at these here prices.
If BTC doesn't go down from here, I couldn't be happier Wink
That is what happens when you have not sufficiently prepared for UPpity.  You are excessively hoping for down in order to make up for your lack of your preparation.
I feel like I need to correct this: Did you misread my "doesn't"?

Someone who was here since 2011 has got to be a whale, maybe even a 'blue whale', unless they were into some "other" stuff early.
It figures.

vapourminer looks at his join date

*cough* or just stupid *cough*

He's ONLY presumptively a month richer than uie poo-ie.

im sure there are some from 2011 that are VERY well off. im also sure a lot of peeps from that same period crashed and burned HARD during those wild days. seriously fun times. paid my dues in lost coins, scam projects, failed hardware, failed wetware... you get the picture.

I'm a total newbie compared to you guys. Not much drama for me, as I joined the club much later.

The only thing I regret, out of my experience in this space, is not going all-in in 2015. I would now be at least a Dolphin in Jay's chart. Other than that, it's been the best thing I've ever done in my life.

Actually, you are right.  I did..  Whoops.  I misread it as "does".... mmmmmyyyyy BBBBBBAAAAADDDD.

There are probably some other areas that I got wrong too, because sometimes when someone talks about selling BTC on the way up before it seems that they have established a decently strong BTC allocation level.. I start to lose my ability to relate (even though I cannot really exactly know all of your circumstances, for sure)... which causes more mistakes to be made in my likely to become repetitive response.

Remember.. whether you like it or not, when you reach 10 years from your forum registration date you become a presumptive whale, relatively speaking... that is part of the reason that I requested clarification from somebody.. anybody.. regarding whether the chart "is still valid"

Seems reasonable... as amended.

In udder words, no ratt's asses given about the tagging-along abilities of various shitcoins.

PS.. I admit that I read vapourminer's mind.. we be dee same peeps, deep, deep on the insides.

Ideal time for buy now

Imagine if this was just a pre bull market and the real one coming within the next 1-2 years.

it happened with AMZN, AAPL, even MSFT.
GOOGL was more or less steady up.
So, it is possible, but not guaranteed, of course

I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)

View Profile

Well in other news, I'm back to fixing miners again. Just repaired a nice T17+ for a Bitcoin Forum member, had a bunch of interesting little problems to untangle.

But it's merrily hashing away at 47th so that's nice.

too bad my hashpower is in Can, otherwise I would have sent you some of those sick puppies.
From Can it is too expensive plus a surplus tax on China stuff (although i am not sure it is still in effect or not-'killed' me on US hashpower).

Really? I don't remember shipping from Canada to be that complex, and since the country of origin is the final destination the only import fee you might have to pay would be the value of the repairs.

@WClementeIII
The most Tether in the history of Bitcoin has been moved onto exchanges.

The previous record was right before Tesla announced their buy.

@WClementeIII
Btw it's not just people "ditching Tether" yesterday was a record day of USDC inflows as well.
