Good morning Bitcoinland.

The battle for $40k continues. Today we're back up over... currently $40940USD/$51200CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Go Bitcoin go.
_______

Been busy at Lake Bitcoin.

Took a day off yesterday to go fishing. Saved a few eating size (not too big, not too small). Threw the rest back.

The lake's so full of fish it's easy pickings.

Smallmouth?  Are there any pickerel in that lake of yours?  That's my favourite - lots of meat on them and easy to fillet.

The long-awaited breakdown of the downtrend line, which has been dragging on since April:

Now the market has all the prerequisites to please patient holders with a good profit, who did not give up and did not sell at $30 000.  Smiley

With the rise in the rate, the volume of transactions also began to grow. There are transactions worth ~$7.5 billion per day.

Just curious:  How many people use linear charts for BTC?  I prefer log

FTFY
That short term isn't very interesting.

I did look at the price of beef today. $1-2 per pound up from when I last looked a few weeks ago. Lumber still up. 3,500,000,000,000 dollar bill floating around, millions of unemployed crossing the border and a number of countries who've already made noises about deposing the petrodollar.

It doesn't happen till it happens its perceived to be happening but anyone who's not getting their ducks in a row is going to be like the people who was complaining there was no TP available because all the people Sheeple who saw were gaslighted into thinking there was going to be a run on TP went ahead and stocked up thereby creating a self fulfilling prophesy.

I just realized: almost at the same time there's FUD from China, EU and USA. What if it's not FUD, what if governments themselves start to feel FOMO?
They know their fiat money system is fading, and they know they can't stop Bitcoin. It seems like just another fruitless attack on the inevitable.

The more governments fear Bitcoin, the more I'm convinced we're on to something!

Stock to flow model remaining intact. Looks like we’re about to blastoff. Everything is aligning perfectly like it seems to do every four years for a massive moonshot. I wouldn’t bet against a $135K BTC in December and I think $200K is more likely than most truly believe. See you there!

I mean they already are in fear when leading industry people start accepting a new payment method instead of fiat.

The fact that we're influencing congress at all (vote delayed) is indeed a massively underrated and bullish point.

Good morning Bitcoinland.
Nice to see some sideways in the low $4xxxx range... currently $41543USD/$51833CAD (Bitcoinaverage).
Steady as she goes.

-post of the day-

Which is worse? Mainstream media propaganda or social media propaganda?

My gut tells me social media propaganda is worse at the moment: compared to MS Media propaganda, fewer people seem to be able to identify it as such. Social media Propaganda can also be customized towards individual users, something the one-to-many broadcasting of the old media (TV, Radio etc.) simply can not do. As such it is much more flexible and adaptable.

I think social media has created a second layer of propaganda around us - one to catch us if we manage to break through the first layer of legacy MS Media Propaganda. It works pretty well, as evidenced by many of posters in this thread  Wink

People get used to FUD

I've conducted 10 years worth of extensive scientific research into this very question and I can conclusively say that while some individuals may get used to FUD, populations do not.

Your scientific research has also resulted in your ridiculously failed predictions.

You can shove them up your ass.

One hour was maybe a bit too optimistic, but we're getting closer every minute...

You know what the people who helped fulfill the self-fulfilling prophesy weren't doing? Crying about not having TP.

And do you know what gaslighting means? Not that.

There was actually ample time to stock up. I waited a couple of days after the news started talking about things and was worried I was going to be too late but while the stores were busy, they were not stampeded and there were plenty of goods on the shelf. I picked up one of those big packs from Costco which was more than enough to get my family through the rush. It was a few days later when the predictable calls to lockdown came and everyone entered panic mode while I sat on my couch metaphorically eating popcorn.

Human beings are the only animal we know capable of complex forward planning. Am I supposed to feel bad about doing so?
