The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Lumber is reverse spiking down and is currently lower than in 2018 (down more than 66% from the peak), lower YTD and on 1 year chart, down 7.4% today alone.
https://www.nasdaq.com/market-activity/commodities/lbs

Unless they spike the bowl again, it is going to be deflation, imho.

OK, I'll give you lumber. I didn't see it had fallen like that. But it seems there were backlogs and probably lots of jobs got cancelled. Good for me though, I have a shed I want to build. We'll have to see with the other stuff but IMO, the effects of government spending are going to dominate.

Bitcoin going very hyperbolic:

Even showing higher on preev rate (minus bitfinex aka. tether printers):

Could it be the news of coinbase accepting cashout per transaction up to $100k using apple pay & google pay?
Just maybe. Grin
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5353112
This is rather big news on a global scale since it allows seamless transactions using these two money transfer services inline to bitcoin.

source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/coinbase-users-can-now-buy-crypto-with-apple-pay

The main thing to take away from this news is they will have a limit of up to $100,000 in a single transaction to be cashed out by their customers.
I don't think any other service allows this on their platform.
With google allowing ads pertaining to bitcoin again, it is showing google's acceptable that it is not a hindrance on their business model after all.

42k broke. What's next? I dont know what to think about this US thing going on. I knew the day will come they will fight it. But I did not expect it that early. Looks like this small assett hurts them already big.

Feelings are being hurt.

She looks like a javelin thrower with that green dildo. Wink
Great timing for the ending of the Olympics and the beginning of the PUMP! Cool

People on the livefeed I am watching are saying the new resistance is $42,690.
Can see this being broken within the next leg up.

Could be.  Could be.

If resistance is broken towards the UPpity and if we get above $46k, then I am going to start to feel (and maybe even proclaim with confidence of greater than 50/50.. perhaps around 58.43249/41.56751) that "the bottom is in."

I usually only post this one when we’re experiencing pure euphoria but it’s been tough since mid May. So here it is, hitting $43,000 makes me feel like this.

Come here you lovely Wall Observers

Good morning Bitcoinland.

The battle for $40k continues. Today we're back up over... currently $40940USD/$51200CAD (Bitcoinaverage).

Go Bitcoin go.
_______

Been busy at Lake Bitcoin.

Took a day off yesterday to go fishing. Saved a few eating size (not too big, not too small). Threw the rest back.

The lake's so full of fish it's easy pickings.

Smallmouth?  Are there any pickerel in that lake of yours?  That's my favourite - lots of meat on them and easy to fillet.

The long-awaited breakdown of the downtrend line, which has been dragging on since April:

Now the market has all the prerequisites to please patient holders with a good profit, who did not give up and did not sell at $30 000.  Smiley

With the rise in the rate, the volume of transactions also began to grow. There are transactions worth ~$7.5 billion per day.

Just curious:  How many people use linear charts for BTC?  I prefer log
