It is time.

Is posting the same pic every year considered spam?

Naaah. You're good Jimbo. I email this one out every year.
Maybe recipients think it's spam. I think its hilarious.  F**k em if they don't have an Xmas sense of humor...
I consider it tradition....  (I'm not sure if it fits the gay Xmas card tradition in here, but whatever...)

New hashrate all time high based on 7-day moving average. Notice the sharp uptick since the drop a week ago. It took 6 months after the China ban, but network security is back to ATH.

Last time it took 6 months to return to ATH was back in September 2020 at around a $10K Bitcoin price, after the March covid capitulation. Other on-chain metrics otherwise remain very bullish, as analysed recently by Will Woo using institutional-grade Glassnode data on his new channel. If anyone is still waiting to the buy the dip, I have no idea what else there is to wait for anymore.

If you're waiting for a bear market, you might be waiting a long time.

Anyone else notice the orders books at the moment? Here's a look at Coinbase; approx 3K buyers to $40K and 1.5K sellers to $60K.

Pretty sure a week ago this was balanced, or even favouring the bears post-crash with many sell walls, so either a lot of sellers already sold or spoofers are removing orders. 1 week can clearly change a lot, even at the same price. Otherwise struggling to find anything bearish on mid to long-term time-frames now, even the shorter term time-frames are beginning to turn around with shorts now starting to fail.

Maybe another fake-out next week back to support just to shake out the rest of the weak hands though, can never be too sure.

If and when Bitcoin reaches tens of thousands of dollars each how disappointed will you be that you didn't invest?
I will be very disappointed, indeed.

These days of sub-$50k are numbered. Don't be like Jorge.

... very important concepts elucidated in this interview, Jason Lowery appears to be as visionary as they come in the bitcoin field

https://youtu.be/dqt23rVxmpY?t=3565

... proof-of-energy (energy production power projection) as a means for projecting superior power to back monetary units will be a huge evolutionary leap over proof-of-war, military power projection backed monetary units ... which has reached it's ultimate stalemate in nuclear mutually-assured-destruction endpoint anyway)

... the new accounting will be joules/sat not bombs/dollar

... thesis is about "mutually assured preservation"

... talks about and positive-sum games where everybody wins, not winner takes all, aka Nash equilibriums, everybody wins when homo-sapiens adopt bitcoin

No doubt.  Great advantage is afforded those who can see farther into the future.  He is still very young.  He will be a very wealthy, and possibly powerful man.

If you're waiting for a bear market, you might be waiting a long time.

It seems that Raja_MBZ is waiting for the BTC spot price to meet the 200-week moving average, and we know that currently, the 200-week moving average is ONLY a little bit above $18k... Furthermore, it seems that the BTC spot price is very unlikely to hit the 200-week moving average before we are actually in a decently extended bear market...

Sure it is true that the BTC spot price did go below the 200-week moving average in March 2020 (at that time, the 200-week moving average was at about $5k).. but that seems to have been a kind of uniquely rare liquidity event that none of us should be counting on very high odds of actually occurring at any time soon in the near future.
