Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

FOMC minutes drop in 15 mins

Not only that, all the tokens are in the same condition due to BTC going down. In 2022, the bad news for BTC is getting worse. As a result, BTC is going down again and again. And this is why all the tokens in the market are sinking. I think good news will come from BTC soon. And BTC will see k 100k in 2023. And if we can see this look of BTC then all the tokens will go up. And it is better not to take any entry at this time.

I had promised myself I was not come here to post for a while...  But this price action.

We REALLY need to see some volume right here with a decisive break above the top resistance.

I would give this a better chance of being a headfake before a big dump, but if we can see that volume come in?

Kind of a hail mary.

Somewhere between 30500 and 31 is the target...  I do not think we will see it.  But I would love to be wrong about that.  Maybe Klaus Schwab just keeled over on stage or something... c'mon corn! Wink

It feels to me like we're back in an accumulation phase with this sideways movement.  I'd be extremely bullish but there are a few factors to consider.

1)  We are at the point in the cycle where another drop is to be expected.

2)  Mtgox coins are still hanging over the market's head.

3) Leveraged long positions on bitfinex are at an all time high meaning a lot of selling needs to take place to cover those positions.

Those are 3 factors that shouldn't be ignored by anyone looking to invest.  It is still quite likely that there's another big drop in store, even if the market is feeling particularly bullish.

#3 is the worst one...  I think we might be just about to see those things closed out one way or the other...

JPMorgan has said bitcoin's fair price is 28% higher than its current level, implying "significant upside from here"

So they have accepted the fair price is +28%, let’s wait until they accept the real price also which is +280%

Força amiga! Vamos continuar sonhando em português!

Great, but, sorry, I don't think that it is sustainable long term.
The f-s are known to come back again and again, until they get their 'piece'.
Because of this and also geographical restrictions on purchases, I never applied for a 'golden visa' in Portugal.
US citizens have similar scheme in Puerto-Rico, but it is riddled with so many fees and limits that it is not sustainable as well.
Besides, they keep wanting to make a state out of it

But their economy has aids.... they need to bring in people with readies...I mean, you can get residency there without using golden visa, which you are right, is a lil restrictive... and kinda the price point too high on the golden visa, ,considering the absolute bargains you can get in Portugal. On a side note I see Madeira is trying to attract digital nomads too.

Hello everyone, I always read this thread, it seems to me one of the most interesting and fun here on bitcointalk. I wanted to give my point of view on the behavior that Bitcoin has had in recent months. Speculation is that it will rally to two-week highs, which I think is fantastic given the uncertainties that have been going on lately. It recently returned to its $30,000 level ahead of the Wall Street open today May 25, showing range resistance as we can see.

According to data from the CryptoQuant chain analysis platform
Quote
the signs from the network transaction value (NVT) Golden Cross metric suggested a pullback was underway.

Further hinting that BTC's next all-time high would take place until 2024, when Bitcoin's next halving cycle begins. What do you think? Will we have to wait that long for another high?

Finally upgraded my LN Node to "LND 0.14.3-beta" and bitcoin-cpre 23.0

Was worried about database conversion issues as i was coming from 0.13 and there were many updates in between. Wasn't sure if i needed to step the upgrade or if i can go straight to the latest version. Documentations didn't mention anything about this, If needed to upgrade to 13.8->14.0->14.1 etc etc, so i assumed i didn't have to! We straight to the latest one!

Have also activated TOR and now running in Hybrid Mode. Both ClearNet and TOR! Which means i can finally initiate connects without having to ask TOR Nodes to add my node as a peer!

Makes participating in channel swaps more seamless!

Although one thing i have noticed, adding a peer via TOR is slower... not overly slow, but noticeably slower than ClearNet...

Routing seems to be very inconsistent over the last 2 weeks and the amount being router seems more consistent with someone spending (1,000 - 10,000SAT) rather than someone re-balancing (100,000+ SAT)... (i am assuming this, no real proof... but if it is, that a good thing!)

A few tips...

Compact your LN database.... use the following in your lnd.conf..

#[bolt]
db.bolt.auto-compact=true
db.bolt.auto-compact-min-age=0

Backup Backup Backup!

Store your unlock password somewhere! You are not going to memorize it! especially given the fact you only have to enter it when you restart your LN node... which in my case is almost never!

If you are looking at a hybrid model, and you have a minimal install of Linux... make sure you install tor daemon!!

LN Node Capacity: 430,447,220 SAT (~4.304 BTC)

Might follow bob and throw some more coins at it!

I can understand both of those things. Regarding the government overreach perhaps an alternative would be to take control of the armed forces away from the government, put it in the hands of the people somehow. Then perhaps the 2nd amendment would not be necessary for at least that side of things.

That was what the second amendment was supposed to be for. Funny how that worked out.

Bingo.

Btw, American colonists were all armed to the teeth, multiple guns in every household... but no mass school shootings. Huh?

Yeah, but let's not address today's youth mental health crisis in America, let's just take away everyone's right to bear arms instead. That will fix everything.  Roll Eyes

Good luck!!

Currently our bigger bill note is '1000 pesos', and equals to 5 usd.. yes, just a McDonald meal.

There is no two ways about it, Bitcoin will be their only saviour in this case, it cristal clear that Fiat is going down and Bitcoin is the future of money, the earlier they embrace Bitcoin the better for them hence they're going to sometime in the future regret, if they don't do the needful as El-Salvador did and could eventually see their money go to zero, Why not act fast when the opportunity to get into Bitcoin now while it's still cheap.

The EU is probably keeping 500 euro notes as legal tender because they know it's going to cost that for a McDonald's meal in the future.
