As you said there are counties that are still buying gas from Russia but the volume is definitely low compared to post war situation.
if Russia had not held such an important position in the world as regards their oil they wouldn't have been able to sustain this their ongoing crisis. That's why you shouldn't try to punch someone who is holding you by the balls...

This is just a pure coincidence. Russia is bad mmkay?! Germany is begging everybody, and the USA in particular to sell them gas so they can survive the winter, The US has responded and now that is bad i your book? The problem is to bring all that shitload to Europe. Talked to one guy who's into LNG logistics. He said if all LNG carrier vessels would leave for US right now (which is impossible long term contracts etc) and will start transporting LNG to Europe they'd manage to bring 20% of required LNG before winter season starts. So yeah. Fucked. Oh yeah, they ar fucked alright, and they deserve a winters punishment for getting dependent on russian gas despite all the warnings from other countries. Edit: and on top of that they are going to close two nuclear power plants at the end of year for political reasons. They truly deserve what they get.Regarding your edited portion, maybe they are retarded? So, I bought 500 dollars worth of btc certificates yesterday because I was tired of waititng for the price to go down. I had had the money on the exchange for a while now and decided to just buy. So now you know why the price dumped today, it's like a effing law of nature.
Well surely the understanding of any of us who buy and hold our "BTC certificates" on exchanges, we may well be holding way larger quantities of actual BTC in our own private ways (wallets?) rather than having all of our exposure to BTC to those "BTC certificates" on exchanges. Currently, I am right in the 10% to 13% of my BTC exposure is on exchanges, and it used to be way higher than that - right around 50% until early 2017... and sometimes it cannot be easily understood how to have systems of not having too much exposure on exchanges (to hold your own keys and the various ways to do it relatively safely and practically), and also sometimes the BTC price going up can change a relatively small exposure into much larger exposures in a quick way. There seem to be ongoing developments to attempt to get exposure to circular economy type products through lightning network. Hopefully some day any of us will be able to convert some of our "BTC certificates" into real BTC within BTC's growing circular economy, but if you are already holding a decent amount of actual BTC, then I personally don't have problems with the use of exchanges during these hopefully transitionary times.

Bushes The rate of inflation now is alarming Proudly Bitcoin holder 😘 Inflation is now an international phenomenon. Every country and corner is facing inflation in all ramifications. Even human life now as been inflated. Everyone now want to live big. I have been saying this inflation issue both in Social Media and offline yet our voices are not heard. That is why I always say that, what the government need is not what the people need and what the people need is not what the government need. So we would never and ever agree on any day. Therefore, the best way to solve this issue is for the masses to kill all the corrupt Politicians and institute new genuine ones to run the affairs of the states. I really don't understand why things are very costly. Because these the same things were sold very low price from the industries. Why the industries increase their prices when they are the manufacturers?

^ Cap from the wh.gov itself, I kek'd Truly living in denial. Can't wait to see their bullshit spin job when we get ever more negative GDP in third and fourth quarters. I can hear it now: "Negative GDP not really a good indicator of recessions, says White House officials." I will say though, that people are going to be shocked when markets take off higher come Jan 2023. It will defy all logic and reason, just like 2020 did. I really don't understand why things are very costly. Because these the same things were sold very low price from the industries. Why the industries increase their prices when they are the manufacturers?
You just answered your own question. We don't have free market capitalism and thus competition anymore. When you own the monopoly on goods production and distribution, you can set prices wherever you want. You can lower production. You can choke distribution. You can create demand destruction.

I have a small portion of my stack in ETH and it's outperforming BTC, which is why I've bought some for the "shorter period"
I would put a big question mark over ETH's price performance after the POS upgrade. Better stick with one large price cycle and then crash out.

Bitcoin moving sideways. This article says its bullish long term. That article says bearish short term. Traders say this and that. Well, we will see what will happen. What will eventually happen at last is the bullrun we have all acticipated for, when and how is the unclear questions that need time and patience to prove itself, these are the flavours in volatility, the ups and down in bitcoin price.

That's why you shouldn't try to punch someone who is holding you by the balls... This is where the saying “don’t bite the hands that puts food in your mouth” comes into play. For far too long, the world has been dependent on oil for its energy use and also gotten used to Russia being a global major supplier of energy. Russia knows the leverage it has and intends to use it fully But Russia is dependent on other countries to maintain the plants and equipment. So in the long run Russian oil/gas production will go down... In the short term Europe has an energy shortage... The whole situation is a zero sum game where the goal is to have the other side break first...
