I'm holding From <$40 average and I think it's going down some more before recovering. Either that or we're stuck in limbo for months. Day trading is a different thing from long term investing.

Limbo is a relative term here. we should expect a rapid climb to 700-800 in the coming weeks if this is a reversal.

That's a big "if". The only think known for sure is that the slide has been temporarily slowed down at expected resistance at the $400 Gox Low. I estimate we'd need at least ten million new dollars flowing into the exchanges to have a true reversal- otherwise we're just taking each other's money until the fees grind us to dust. IF I was a billionaire, I'd be dumping money into BTC like crazy right now, but I'm not. Billionaires don't make billions from giving money to people like us. They make billions from taking our money.

It's going to go sideways or down until the get rich crowd make way for the real players. That will require a lot of pain.
I'm catching up but think this is exactly where we are.

I think I'll cut my roughly 10% losses on BTC & LTC since last week and go all in on XCP since the first easy to access DEX will be live from tomorrow on the online Counterwallet https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=395761.6980 , I can easily see a 400% + rise coming to put it on a level cap with the as of yet useless mastercoin.

Could you maybe give a run down of the basics of xcp??

From my calculations.

In the next hour, the price will either drop.  if Huobi drops to under 2777 then, we will have another round of drops.  However if in the next hour the price jumps up, it could go to around 2810, if we hit 2810, then it will be another 2 hours before we know if it's going up or down again.

Of course a big movement could change the current course quite easily.

A large dump or Pump from now to the next 3 hours could be decisive.

Either way in there will be some big movements within the next 3 hours.  Good luck to all.

If the price goes to 2840 then it's bullish.   (just my opinion)

EDIT:  Looks like we are going down!

I love how this thread go quiet on weekends but the soon there is a price action all users jump in and start writing pages of new posts in a matter of few minutes... "CCMF" or "I see blood on streets" pictures of asses and trains and moons; to the point that you cant keep up with posts.

now back to topic, the market is very calm, Bitstamp is showing 6KBTC volume, hardly any trade is happening, it feels like the calm before the storm, what direction will it be ? although Adam's poll show about 38.8% of speculators that think the price will be around $450, what this means to me  (if I can change this numbers to words) is most of voters didn't yet sell or buy and the majority is holding...

Nice, if I have to predict anything ( prediction pulled out of my ass), not that I have any knowledge especially when the market is this calm, and just by looking to the Bid sum, any smart "whale" wouldn't buy of this thin ASK book order ... I mean 20K to $1000 !!!  I know that most people doesn't keep coins on exchanges and the soon there will be an action many traders will be sending the coins there and dumping. but I have a theory, if I was a big whale and thought about buying a large sums of BTC, one way I would take is to dump and trigger panic so people would 1) either dump in to my walls 2) start building the sell orders so I can later buy into them.

So my theory is, in order that Bitcoin rise it has to go down first, and we've seen that happen all the time, so based on all the above, I say the price will drop before we go up.

Confirmed!

Not 100% sure yet, but it's the first time in 3 days Huobi has fallen outside the support lines.

pathetic volume is what i want to see right now....

bitcoin market is 24/7 its nice to have some periods with less action... theres nothing wrong with not dumping a shit ton of fiat or btc right now.

nothing is gonna happen in 2 hours, because of some imagine triangle.

go have a life poeple, nothing to see here.

yes, pathetic volume is a bullish sign right now, but I am afraid that the dumpsters are just waiting for the bulls in denial and their moves.

The price has already dropped from 1200 to 400... What do you expect? A drop to the 200? 100? 10? Do you know how many Bitcoins where for sale only on Gox the las april buble? I can tell you...  Almost 300000... How many are now for sale at stamp? 40000?  This only data is enought to see that the next bubble whould be of epic proportions, there's just not enought btc for all.

Now when you see that ultrabulls are turning bears you know its time to buy back.

yes, there is a lot of hidden 400 support. soon enough we will see who will prevail.

my guess: another bull run to 480~500 for the weekend, then the real test of 400 next week. I think it wont hold.

we had many bull traps, and this one's gonna hurt.
