We can say it got a good reaction. This time, when bitcoin started to lead, altcoins did not rise much. Especially the 10 percent rise should be an indication that the money is now mostly shifting to bitcoin. I think this rise is a bit dangerous. From here we can move towards $ 17,500. It's better to be careful. We should not dive in just because we see green.

If I could blow my merit load, at a 5:1 ratio to remove merits from someone, I would likely have Theymos revoking my merit source as a punitive move for dumping everything into your forum account to keep you at a negative merit count...

Why so grumpy...actually, not having a crown (or something similar in responsibility) probably gives you more freedom (like being an artist...look at George W). He has good genes, though, ...could be facing 20 years or more of being king.

I was on a business visit this morning to a neighboring farm. I was left alone for a few minutes while I waited for coffee to be made. Out of boredom I scanned through their bookshelf, I had to do a double take when I spotted the spine of a book, Bitcoin - a beginners guide. I thought if these very conservative, regular folk (in god we trust) are taking interest in and possibly own Bitcoin, Bitcoin's time has definitely come. Out of politeness I did not bring up the subject, but will broach the subject if the opportunity arises at a future date, perhaps over a beer. I am insanely curious. Given the above. To those who sold at $18800 - what the fuck! were you thinking of. To those waiting for $15k $12k $10k good luck with that, at some point the ship will sail and you will curse the day for your inaction. A lesson from history, I'm still waiting for my $680 order to fill.

your order was only $9 away from the $689 whale order (who recently sold 5000 of those bitcoins)...possibly explains why yours did not fill, lol.

Suddenly the market seems a little too bullish, but I suspect that the recent FUD campaign over mtgox funds being released (it was clear they weren't going to be to any of us claimants, but for whatever reason the rumors were strong) led to a buying opportunity that the big boys couldn't resist. There's definitely a lot of people on the sidelines waiting for the next bull run to start. I'm not one of them though. Dollar cost averaging is your friend and now is the time to be doing it.

Depending on how this develops, could be similar to the April 2019 sudden gap upwards from ~$4K...we shall see.

Gee thanks Bob. And I would not give a fuck if I had merit 0. Its kinda like getting a star in school who ever gave a fuck about such puerile shit. Perhaps something missing in translation. (prince) Now King. Hey I'm heartened with your regular updates on your ranch project. Nothing ever worth doing did not come without major problems and ball-ache. Your effort will be rewarded with the most worthwhile thing you ever did in your life. While you are having a bad mood, I may just say how fucked off I was over your city boy attitude towards your neighbour farmers over what amounted to less than an acre of dirt. Whilst you won your ground legally, your action will not be forgotten by all your neighbours, who possibly have three generations or more buried in the church yard. This needed saying.

Fucking idiots. Seems we pumped a bit on that news too lol They certainly look like gremlins concocting some ill-conceived plans that NO ONE requested. The ridiculousness of it all is underlined by the small overall % of power bitcoin is using in comparison with gigantic polluting and earth destroying industries like gold mining, for example, plus too many more examples to mention. Obviously, they have an agenda. I have no idea why, but something something about enslaving would fit the bill to a tee. I rarely speak "political" as it is generally not worth it, but enough of this nonsense already. <end of a rant> What you claim to be ridiculous, i find to be inevitable. what is inevitable? banning of bitcoin? sorry, but it is tickling my "bullshit" sensor. Yep, if you think someone will willingly hand over global reserve currency status without putting up a fight you have a surprise coming. Hmmm...bitcoin is $405 bil, gold is $12.5 tril. Who is banning gold? No one. Bitcoin has to increase 30X to get close to Au. Global reserve currency status is more of a dream right now...maybe in 20-50 yrs, maybe never. I would be totally cool with bitcoin "market cap" of 10-15 Tril (500K-750K). Even at 10tril, bitcoin would not "threaten" anyone, really, with total capital markets in $300 tril vicinity, maybe $500 tril in 20 years. I didn't say right now, but i'm thinking less than 20yrs. By then rewards will be BTC28,125/day for projected global population of ~9B. Pressure will also not be spontaneous, the more BTC becomes a threat the more pressure will be applied. Appears so far it only warrants the ETF silliness. I'm sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume. -Satoshi*In 50yrs DAILY reward will be just a fraction BTC0,1 for population of 10,5B by then either no one will remember BTC or there will be a citadel

And it figures the yanks had to do a direct rip-off of the British National Anthem for their patriotic song "My Country Tis of Thee" I remember learning this in 4th grade after immigrating to Amerika . I was like "hey, wtf!... these are the wrong lyrics!" when the teacher had us sing it in class after that Pledge of Allegiance nonsense. (apologies for quoting myself) That melody was used with a lot of different text in many countries in the 1800s and early 1900s, in Sweden as well, with a text similar to the English one, as an informal national anthem, especially for the united kingdom of Sweden Norway, over time the one in use now gained more popularity and is now the de facto national anthem. As a fun fact, Sweden does not have a formal national anthem just a de facto one that by tradition has become an national anthem, as does Great Britain and Finland. Bet you didn't know that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZZBzbj1LPo

Gold & other commodities rose at the same time. So the question is, did BTC go up or did Fiat go down?
I don't know if the increase in the price of gold or other things has anything to do with the increase in the price of bitcoin. But this year, the condition of bitcoin was very bad and meybe be seen that in the coming year, bitcoin will be seen at 60 thousand dollars again. I don't know if this is a real bitcoin pump but bitcoin will go up a lot very soon. And for that Bitcoin may be starting to rise from now on. But Bitcoin will not rise completely, it will grow slowly. And now the Bitcoin that is going up may go down again after getting support to get some support. And this is how we will see Bitcoin at 60 thousand dollars. Make up your mind.
