https://blockchain.info/charts/n-transactions-excluding-popular
This one is still lower than previous week. Less transactions means less economy means price going down.

https://blockchain.info/charts/n-unique-addresses
This one is very slightly increasing after downtrend. More addresses means bitcoins are more spread means more people using them means price going up.

https://blockchain.info/charts/estimated-transaction-volume-usd
This one is still going down, albeit maybe we are close to flatlining.

Highly disagree with the first comment, currently we're in phase of spending stashes IMO. Early Adopters are buying goods via btc with no need to convert to fiat, they may or may not rebuy depending on being miners and or time frames they plan to rebuy and limit fiat funds. So more transactions = selling pressures as btc is turned to fiat by overstock etc.

I think the more reasonable conclusion is that the turnaround in price causes also the number of transactions to go up. This could be analysed further so that we do not fall on the false causation trap, which would be embarrassing.

It's so much fun to see people selling 300 coins at 450 thinking we reached the top and then the train just keeps going, forcing them to rebuy at 470. The amount of people losing money because trading must be insane.

Even though I'm long term bull, this has to be a bull trap. All these people could have bought last week for less money. Why is Bitcoin suddenly more desirable to them now than it was before? Nothing has changed.

BTW Jorge, my own wikipedia entry was so regularly defaced that in the end it was easiest to just delete it.  It's the Internet.  With the very best will in the world, get over it. Wink

And which Wikipedia page might that have been?
