nutilah the man is he going stop the spam or will j.. prevail
Please note that j.. is a 1 syllable abbreviation for jjg as I wanted my 5-7-5 haiku.
This one letter code already been known …. Yeah those who know, know Jay. Naaah I mean the use of one letter to mean something that otherwise wouldn’t fit in the haiku I could have done jay but wanted to show it was jjg what's all the ruckus? imho, positives outweigh the negatives in a big picture, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. bitcoin is flat, though...who of OGs is the most responsible for it? [...looking at the screen menacingly] There is no answer, but in the old old times, when there was no rain, they always found a witch/warlock whodunit and sacrifice her/him for the "greater good". Sometimes it 'worked', too.

Seems like $26,000 is the new steady-state price... For how long? "Please, Bitcoin, do something!" etc., etc.
It always locks on round numbers. Must be human psychology. Would be interesting to see the price lock at $26,450 for a change. Or, even better, lock at $264,500.
(Most) folks just tend to be drawn to simplicity. I confess, me too. "Buy and hodl" is my favourite Back in the early days, I used to set limit prices based on the digits of Pi or other math constant. Like $314.159. It was fun to spot the transaction as it went through in the order book. Now I just do round numbers like the rest of us. PS: This could even be an OPSEC issue I guess (but I bet there are many more OCD types out there)... Yep, all my buy prices end in XXXXX.88 If you see those on the buy books, you know it is me! About a year ago, Bitstamp disallowed placing orders that use cents, and therefore we ONLY get round numbers and no decimal places with them. Personally i don't like that decision of theirs. Gayest thing ever 😆
You should know. I am developing a short-attention-span from all the merit parasites and their empty white noise posts.
True dat! And of course I miss @proudhon. @proudhon, where art thou?
You're just worried about the receipt of your "proudhon gift." I get the sense that you do not "really" and "truly" like him. bitcoin is flat, though...who of OGs is the most responsible for it?
Blame Philipma1957. At this particular moment, I cannot think of any candidate more eligible. [...looking at the screen menacingly] There is no answer, but in the old old times, when there was no rain, they always found a witch/warlock whodunit and sacrifice her/him for the "greater good". Sometimes it 'worked', too.
I would not want phil to be sacrificed.. especially since he does not have very many years left.. I mean maybe 2062 at the outside of things.

Another thing, I know that I am ribbing on you, but I doubt that my odds of making it to 2062 are that much greater than yours, and even if they might be greater, I cannot even be sure that they are greater. Maybe we might have to agree that fillippone should be a substitute beneficiary, since he will likely still be bitterly waiting for Proudhon's payout at around that time.

If you were so lucky, you will have to have your nurse help you carry out the send. And, that's probably going to be a lot of money.. My 200-week moving average fuck you table does not include a date out that far.. so I might have to update my table to see where I project the 200-week moving average to be at that time, and then in the end, how close the actual BTC price might end up getting to the projected price by such date. Edited: I just did a quick look at my extended chart (on my computer), and the projected 200-week moving average looks something like this for late 2061. (Date) | (RL_Price) | (BTC Bottom) | (%gain/time) | (% Rate ∆) | ($ Amount ∆) | (#Coins/FU Status) | 11/28/61 | | $8,225,050 | 3.28% | 99.00% | $270,127 | 0.24315963 |
That would mean right around $86,363 for 0.0105 BTC. Seems like a lot to just give away, but hey, if you make it to 105, then surely that would be reason to celebrate, and stocking it away today ONLY costs a mere $273, and what is $273 between good ole buddies?

Thanks! I already set a reminder on my calendar. Addy in PM. I won’t disclose my chances of being alive in 2065, but that makes me think about the following: what does it qualifies us as “alive”? Posting on the WO Observer seems like a good proxy. Any other idea? What is the meaning of life without posting on the WO? Your such a good sport...
*You’re And of course I miss @proudhon. @proudhon, where art thou?
You're just worried about the receipt of your "proudhon gift." I get the sense that you do not "really" and "truly" like him. Of course I miss him primarily for his bet: <...>
Target price: 170,000 USD
Not bad. Bullish. My body is ready.
Money is going to leave the bitcoin ecosystem over the next 12 months (and forever after on average). Bitcoin will never reach that price. If it does, I'll buy $10k worth and give it to you. Quoted for reference. Please someone help me remember when it happens! But I liked the lateral humor and the contrarian stance. Also bearing in mind he probably has the biggest stash here on the WO adds some humor to his posts.

I can own it.

[...] I am quite likely not going to be holding my breath for any of this, even though I do see why some people are getting bored, and maybe they feel that they already accumulated enough BTC in these prices, which maybe it could be the case, but being more than $1k below the 200-week moving average ( at $27,498 right now) does not seem to be a very healthy place in order to have a further break downwardly.. but hey, breaking down (if it is possible) might end up shaking some weak hands, if it does not end up recking some bearwhale twats prior to their ability to be able to buy back the coins that they had ended up selling in such desires to try to get the price of cornz to go downity rather than uppity or sideways. @JJG seems Saylor and yourself are on the same page:
