Is this Mt.Gox thing what's pushing down Bitcoin prices? Does that mean people are selling now hoping to buy back cheaper after they finally return the Mt.Gox Bitcoins to their owners? If that's the result of potentially selling a part of less than 1% of all Bitcoins in existence, I'm disappointed.

It might be a rare sell-the-rumor, buy-the-news event?

Are the Exchanges are almost out of coins in the room with us?

There’s only $12,000,000,000 worth of BTC hitting the market in the next couple months. Everyone in this thread assured me the mtgox coins wouldn’t make any impact on the market and I was overreacting to keep mentioning it. If you haven’t already sold, bury your head in the sand until October.

On any market s-t always happens BEFORE something real happens, NOT when it is actually happening.

Hence why I said this was coming for months and now I’m saying it’s too late to sell…

First, it's 9 billion, not 12 billion Smiley (slightly over 10 billion at 73k ATH's prices).

Second, it's less than a typical daily trading volume. Or half or the coins GBTC has sold since January. And that's the worst case.

So yes, I actually agree with OgNasty, it may be too late to sell now.

(Edit: Today's trading volume has been 44 billion. Normally it's around 15-30 billion. So we can assume the Goxcoin panic caused around 15 billion of additional sales - more than all Goxcoins together ...)

I think the best Bond could be black, but I would suggest a black woman lesbian.

FTFY

Well we all know that Jamey likes girls, so that goes without saying of course.
But... wait... stereotypes... Jamey could like BOYS instead, right?

IN THE WRITERS ROOM AT NETFLIX

- Writers...? Writers...? Could we have a lesbian who likes men?

- Uh well sir, I guess we could, yes, but you know, semantics and all... it could be hard to pull off... maybe ... he/she/they/it could be ... bi instead? Like 007B? Now this could be fun...

- Hey guys, WTF is that thing flying out of the window??

- Never mind sir, it's Ian Fleming's corpse trying to break in. He always does, but we installed bulletproof glass after we were done with his novels.

I've never been a weak hand to sell during a big dump. But, this time it is different. I have to sell in a week about 1-2% of my stash to order a new car from the Mercedes factory. (It will come after 5 months, so I can't delay anymore. This is just the initial payment, the rest will be from my salary and probably some smaller percentage of my stash after 5-6 years.) I know that this is not a lambo to brag about, but I just need a nice  car with a good suspension and high tech packages for my daily errands. I'm waiting for a call from the bank when they are ready with the formalities, so I have to sell no matter the price. The timing is rather bad, really. I coud have sold at 70K, but I didn't want to sell until I am certain the deal is 100% sure.

Are you drunk or has this account been sold/compromised?

Hey, I gave him 3 merits. It's not often I bestow the honor of the gayest amount of merit possible to give...

You are forgetting the 3 billion that Germany is currently selling.  Wink

Guys.  Relax.  This will all be over tomorrow.
The only reason bitcoin price tanked today is because tomorrow, the inclusion rate for capital gains goes from 50% to the very evil 66⅔% for me.  It was the universe applying a bell curve to my good fortune so I don't get too out of touch with reality by making it impossible for me to make a last minute decision to beat the taxman.
