Bit of a crappy day for Bitcoin today. Hopefully the price holds $60,000 or I am going to be quite annoyed. With any luck this is a retest and we’ll bounce soon.

I think the market is just normalizing itself after being run-up with Saylor’s recent buy. The momentum is still up in my opinion but whenever we see sudden big jumps it isn’t unreasonable to expect a correction. None of this day to day stuff matters though. In a matter of months, being as low as $70K will seem impossible.

I think the market is just normalizing itself after being run-up with Saylor’s recent buy. But is not too hard to ask for a fairytale like journey right?

Emotions...bitcoin is up 32% for the year to 16% for S&P 500, yet S&P 500 investors are very happy while bitcoin investors are a bit annoyed.
I wonder what our yearly cycle average would become in this and the next cycle?

 

I hate to get ahead of myself, or even to come off too much as a broken record.. 

Yet, we should be able to see that even if the historical cycles have been around 75% annualized in terms of my own personal experiences, I will still like to just project forward at around at least 20% annualized going from the 200-WMA.. even though surely the rate seems likely to be more than that and even get us up in the ballpark of 50% or more. and perhaps even 75% annualized if we are looking at each of the next two years..

Surely, I think that the 10% withdrawal rate that I have pondered into being within reason and sustainable, gives a bit of cushion between 10% and 20%, so if the annualized rate of increase of the 200-WMA were to actually go below the anticipated lower case scenario of at least 20% per year, then adjustments could be made to not withdraw so much.... not that I have been even employing the withdrawal rate on a personal level, but still experiencing the ongoing BTC appreciation and increased authorizations to withdraw, yet without personally doing it.

Even with our price correction that is currently lingering right around $59k-ish, we are still currently right around 50% higher than the 200-WMA (of $38,500-ish). https://bitcoindata.science/withdrawal-strategy

BTC crashing WHY AM I HOLDING? I'LL TELL YOU WHY.  It's because I'm a bad trader and I KNOW I'M A BAD TRADER.  Yeah you good traders can spot the highs and the lows pit pat piffy wing wong wang just like that and make a millino bucks sure no problem bro.  Likewise the weak hands are like OH NO IT'S GOING DOWN I'M GONNA SELL he he he and then they're like OH GOD MY ASSHOLE when the SMART traders who KNOW WHAT THE FUCK THEY'RE DOING buy back in but you know what?  I'm not part of that group.  When the traders buy back in I'm already part of the market capital so GUESS WHO YOU'RE CHEATING day traders NOT ME~!  

Reminded me that holders are holders not just because they holding for a long time but because they still hold even in a Dip.

I’ve been looking at tax rules in different parts of the world today. The UK is a shit hole, new extreme left government, dropping hints about capital gains tax increases, wealth taxes etc. With the ever increasing invasion by third world immigrants, I’m not sure I want to bring up my daughter here any more. UAE citizenship via investment is looking more attractive every day.

Is Dubai a citadel-type city it seems to be?
Yet, it is freakishly hot, I surmise, in the A/c absence aka outside.
Basically, there is no outside during summer.
Having spent quite a bit of time in a very "hot" city, I can see the downside of this.
Re taxes-don't for a second think that centimillionaires (>$100mil) would not find some legal go-around..they did when the top marginal income tax in US was 91-92% (1944-1963).

there was a lot of triple tax exempt bonds for a while. but the rich have gotten over for thousands of years. every once in a while they get slaughtered. think of marie “let them eat cake” 🎂 antonette.
