Huh... Can any of you guys think of a way we could possibly protect against the debasement of a fiat currency?  I'm totally stumped.

Care of what you wish for.
you are right. I paid of buddy with a merit so I am expecting to hit my buy ladder soon.

hint it starts with a 4 not a 5.

That is pretty pathetic.. .and even wishful-thinking.  But hey, you never know.  You might get lucky.  I will admit that my next buy order is just above $57k-ish and has not been hit yet, and then they go down every $1,500 until the BTC price is around $43.5k and then they go down every $1,250 until the BTC price might reach $28.5k-ish, then they go down every $1k until $25.5k-ish.. and surely I don't hope at all that any of them get filled - since it seems to me that we spent enough time correcting and consolidating, given the whole scheme of bitcoin things.. but yeah, maintaining a degree of ignorance and even lack of emotion in the set up should be part of the goal, except surely, most of us coiners (especially longer term ones) are actually quite biased towards UPpity rather than DOWNity or sideways, since long ago we have stacked enough, if not more than enough coinz.. so yeah, there may well be bias towards UP rather than DOWN or sideways.

I would not even bet that somewhere touching the $40ks would not be out of the question, even though the odds could not be much greater than 50/50, yet it surely does not hurt to have some preparation in that direction.. yet cheering for it seems to be taking the matter to even another level..

got you going though. this is your second post talking about that post.

Hahahahaha

Of course, I stand by the point(s) that I made in each of those posts, including that it seems that I was making slightly differing points in each of my responses.. even if there also might have been some overlap... what else is new?  If we were to remove repetition, then chart buddy might end up being the ONLY dude posting in these here parts.

Are you speculating (or do you believe) that my having had responded twice to some points that could have had been merged into one post, then that's a sign of weakness in that I might be getting too emotional about the topic?

hahahahahaa

Oh, and by the way, you had not even responded at all to one of my earlier posts in which I had pointed out to you that there is almost no fucking way that you would be recouping expenses the sales of your BTC that you used for buying (leasing costs) of your new car..

Let's say that the extra costs to switch over from your old lease to your new lease were in the ballpark of $4.5k, os even if we take the best case scenario that you were able to sell something like 0.1 BTC at our recent $65k top, then that would have had generated you $6,500 from your BTC sale, so if the BTC price drops all the way down to $49k, then you don't even have the $4.5k that you used for your car expenses to buy back BTC, but yeah you could get $4.5k from other sources, so that you are buying back $6,500 BTC at $49k, which would get you 0.132653 BTC, which is nearly 1/3 more than you sold, but that's all fantasy that you would be able to pull anything off, especially since $4,500 had already been spent, so the mere fact that you get $4,500 from somewhere else so that you can buy back BTC with the full $6,500 that you got out of the sale is still quite the fantasy to suggest that you would be paying for such additional expense through trading BTC.

Of course, I am guessing a bit at the exact numbers, and probably giving you way too much benefit of the doubt in terms of playing waves, since almost no one is able to consistently sell at the top and buy at the bottom, even if we might get more bottom from here, so far the best that you have gotten is around $57.2k, and the fact that you are dreaming about $49k or some other low number, shows that you remain in a bit of a fantasy land in terms of how much money you believe that your trading practices are generating for you, versus if you had just mostly attempted to emphasize holding your cornz rather than fucking around with them when you likely don't have enough of them, anyhow..

I have heard you complain about not having enough cornz several times, and sure I can relate to the fear of mortality issue (and/or potential cutting of the timeclock), since I had already given one my own personal examples related to those kinds of sentiments, part of my problem comes when guys try to act as if they are able to get more BTC by selling BTC, so sure you might get more cash in the short term, but you likely are not getting more cash overall as compared to guys who focus on accumulating bitcoin and overly accumulating bitcoin prior to fucking around with believing that scalping puts them in a better financial position, even though it seems to give you quite a few short-term thrills, that you frequently complain about later in terms of not having as much BTC as you should (go figure? ongoingly making the same kinds of mistakes and wondering why you ongoingly don't have as many BTC as you wished that you were to have).
