This is how I understand it.  Do your own due diligence.

All my corn is long term gains at this point. Whenever I sell, I just make sure I set aside 25% for any quarter I sold in.

Also, taxation is theft.

Most taxation is not theft. It is gross misuse of funds by both extremely naive and corrupt individuals.  What's left of the rest is stolen by both groups. But then again let's not ask Germany why their leaders spend hundreds of thousands of euros on "make-up".

You can't make this shit up.

But she really looks cute on a trampoline.. *

A buddy from younger years always told me wrt the software we were selling then:
"Listen, shit will never shine, you can polish that as long as you want, it just won't shine."

News on my court case:
The sworn expert didn't apper at the hearing, so my lawyer had to write questions and wait up to four weeks for response. The response was in my favor, but the final hearing was delayed because the insurance's lawyer didn't understand some things he wanted to clarify. So it's more of the waiting game, but the pile of money they owe me is getting bigger each week. I'm going to meditate through this, and if Bitcoin is over $80k when i recieve the money, i will spend half of it for a market buy and resume my DCA plan with the other half. Maybe it will be 60/40 if the price is my friend. If we keep the current level or even go below, i'm likely all in.

So many stupid lawyers... but they get paid anyway, like politicians  Angry

The Blackrock slides are interesting.

So Gold governance is somehow decentralized?

They could have put Bitcoin in an even better light, tbh.

They could have put Bitcoin in an even better light, tbh.
There's an inherent flaw in the image on the right: it measures value in dollars, which makes the volatility of US Treasuries Low. But since dollars lose value all the time, I'd argue gold is a better standard of value. That would make the volatility of US Treasuries Medium, and gold Low.
But even that isn't a good measure, because volatility goes in both directions. I'd argue volatility up is better than volatility down, and it's not even mentioned in the list of monetary criteria.

It gets even worse when you realize US Treasuries (25T) are completely based on debt, while gold and Bitcoin are not.

Last night was a bust for auroras, at least, for most.  It didn't even seem like a timing issue, as the Kp index (a measure of the level of disturbance in earth's magnetic field)  didn't really move much.  That being said, the Kp index is derived from a weird mix of science and witchcraft over a 3 hour window and gives a standard quasi-logarithmic number that's valid for all latitudes which is reported after the 3 hours intervals at specific times ie 0000 hrs, 0300 hrs, 0600 hrs, 0900 hrs...1800 hrs, 2100 hrs.  Anyway, fingers crossed for the rest of the weekend and here is the Kp forecast courtesy of NOAA.

NOAA Kp index forecast 04 Oct - 06 Oct
  Oct 4    Oct 5    Oct 6
00-03UT  3    5.33    6.33
03-06UT  3.33    6    6.67
06-09UT  4    6.33    6.33
09-12UT  4.33    6.33    6.33
12-15UT  6.67  6.33  5.33
15-18UT  6.33  6.33  5.33
18-21UT  6.33  7  4.67
21-00UT  4.67  6.67  4.33

NB Time is universal - remember to convert for your locale.  Should be good tonight in Europe and North America.
