EDIT: did you guys read about some Canadian guy who had a round-trip going from 88K to 415 mil (  Cheesy ) and back down to essentially zero using TSLA calls and puts?
A strange story...he is suing RBC for, apparently, giving him a bad advice, whatever this means.

So 400 million wasn't enough?

He decided he needed a cool billion?

at that point you probably feel that you have made it anyway and money becomes just numbers on a screen

Guys, can you recommend bitcoin related materials that are suitable for beginners? I recently met a man who wanted to invest and asked me for advice. I told him about Bitcoin and he decided to invest a significant amount. But he needs more information.
Depends on the information.
Normal basics, this would help

No apology from NOAA but I notice that they changed the wording of their title from "forecast" to "breakdown" so perhaps that shows more confidence in the numbers and in fairness, there was a little burst of activity in the wee hours allowing one person in Alaska to see the aurora but that's far from a G3 solar storm and they missed by a long shot in every time frame... anyway, they're really the only game in town and they have access to all the high tech equipment so... I'll give them another shot.

NOAA Kp index breakdown Oct 06-Oct 08 2024
 Oct 06Oct 07Oct 08
00-03UT  1.6743.33
03-06UT  133.67
06-09UT  2.333.334
09-12UT  1.674.67(G1)3
12-15UT  45.00(G1)2
15-18UT  43.332.33
18-21UT 4.67(G1)42.67
21-00UT  6.67(G3)4.332.67

1800 to 0000 hours UT means that Europeans could be in for a treat.  Sundown comes a bit earlier these days so ppl in Northeastern US (around 6:30PM EDT in NYC) and Eastern Canada should be able to catch a glimpse.  If you're on Central Daylight time in the northern US, you might be able to catch the ass end of it.

I was really expecting this to be much stronger and come sooner based on the initial numbers and I guess I wasn't alone in that.  Maybe since it is moving slower than expected, it will last longer too.  Fingers crossed.

Syllablecounter.net says "strike 300 K" is 3 syllable?
Now I understand my mistake
300 i.e th-ree hun-dred
That's how is pronounced in our local language pidgin.
Missed it up
The three itself is a syllable (1), not (2).

don’t feel bad.

I am USA and had to check on strike

As when playing baseball and the pitcher throws a strike to the batter the Umpire will occasionally call it

striiii-ike.  basically showing off and it sounds good when you are watching the game.

so i had to check on the word strike

It’s a great feeling watching Bitcoin gradually rise! From dropping to $60k, we’re now back up to $62k..

Feels like the dip might be behind us, and we’re heading in the right direction again. I have a feeling that we could be looking at a bullish month from here on out. Keep hodling and enjoy the small pumps! Have a good day!

 fuckin' Canuck

In the guy’s defense, 400 million moose shekels probably won’t have the buying power to do much for long. So you can’t blame him for trying to stack more with what’s coming down the line for our friends to the north. Blaming your own terrible trades on someone else isn’t the greatest strategy though. I imagine it won’t play out well for him.

just buy 5k BTC and have fun with the rest of the mony

Last bullrun to $70.000 was a huge disappointment due to FTX debacle while it should have been above $100.000.

To be honest, we -as long time holders- endured much profound soul crushing drama that we fully deserve a $250.000+ next year reaping the fruits in full glory.

absolutely fucking right you are

I prefer the "Don't give them food, teach them how to fish" kinda approach  Cheesy

I think the initiative must come from them: searching info, asking people.
When they search on their own, they will often come back to ask what you think about a certain info.

Btw
Even though I haven't watched anything the recent weeks, I like "Bitcoin University" on YT.  Like Saylor he is new to the game but a quickly self-taught "pro".

It's the first Sunday,
Of a special kind of month,
For those in the know!

What does it all mean?
Do you really have to ask?
Can you count to 6?

AI's just a tool.
Use it, don't let it use you.
Mock it, and it will!

The Middle East bleeds.
Demons fight, innocents die.
Will a nuke solve it?

PlanB keeps planning,
Sirazimuth keeps jamming,
Price still ain't pumping...

Auroras my ass.
I'm no fucking pharmacist!
No rabbi, either!

Doom? Gloom? When moon? Soon!
He spoke once, and said it all.
We're all Satoshi!
