A lot off topic but had to share with someone cos I'm trying to stay strong for my wife at the moment. Children for us are off the cards due to medical reasons so we've got two beautiful dogs. Unfortunately, our eldest, Nismo, well he's fallen very ill and in a few hours barring a miracle I'll likely be saying goodbye to him for the last time. Back in 2020 he had to have spinal surgery which cost a lot of money (would spend it again in a heartbeat) and BTC helped him there too. Sadly, doesn't look like money will solve the problem today.

If you have dogs, hold them extra tight for me tonight, they really are the greatest gift and best friend. I truly am lucky to have had his light shine on our lives for the last 14 years. I'll post a picture of him later just so everyone can appreciate him and how amazing he was/is

Sorry mate, I know how painful it's losing a friendly pet as dog because already one is used to them and how they jumped around us give us that Joy and happiness. In fact being around them is the most wonderful thing someone could have, just as I can't hold my tears as we lost newly bought dog last 2 week. When I made inquiry it was said to be the weather that it's too hard on him due to the harden harmattan and wasn't able to withstand the dried weather, though last 3 years we already lost one. The harmattan is so severed in way most of trees around us gives up due to the excessive dryness on ground surface and also I am not a favourite of this weather though its affect me as well as I can't barely work around as usual except for the wet season.

Any way take heart, I hope you find a way to replace it with new one.

Amazon's (AMZN) shareholders are urging the company to take a page from MicroStrategy's (MSTR) playbook by diversifying its reserves into bitcoin (BTC) to beat inflation and boost shareholder value.

Why? If you're holding Bezos' stock and want to diversify into Bitcoin, why not buy Bitcoin yourself instead of the company doing so? I mean, don't get me wrong, I can think of reasons for companies for doing this, but as a shareholder, you don't need Bezos for this.

Some shareholders are too lazy or hesitant to study Bitcoin but love to ride the FOMO. If they don’t fully understand it, investing and holding it might feel too risky for them. Instead, they’d rather transfer that risk to the company, which has experts to manage the investment and make it secure.

I think that’s also why some investors prefer ETFs over simply buying and HODLing Bitcoin themselves. ETFs offer investment making it easier for those who don’t want to deal with the complexities of directly owning Bitcoin.
