Kind of misfeeling, with the smell of dead rat and deodorant.

A controversial opinion in VERY broad strokes:
POTUS is gearing up to drop taxes (maybe to zero) on couples earning less than $200K. Who usually has de minimis taxes? Answer: poor people.
To me, this indicates, as incredible as this thought is, that you would need to earn >$200K/year as a family to be "not poor" soon. Where is bitcoin when this happens: perhaps no less than $300k/btc or even more.
Conclusion...if you cannot make sure that you are earning >$200k/year within the next 12-24mo, buy bitcoin as much as you can, perhaps. Albeit, this is not an investment advice.
We are in the middle of a gigantic experiment: a vast decrease in all taxes on the current middle class (except sales taxes) with simultaneous increase in sales taxes plus a presumed significant decrease in government assistance: medicaid, Section 8, etc, etc.
EDIT: DXY had peaked at 110 in jan. Now, it's at 99.25 (10% decrease). In 2008 and 2011, DXY bottomed at about 71-72. It's entirely possible that this is where we are going aka another 25-30% down, which should be super bullish for btc. W.Buffett hinted that Berkshire would think of diversifying their $$ to other currencies.

With all the OP_return talk around the community, I have to wonder a bit if developers aren’t trying to recreate the Bitcoin Cash fork as a dividend for Bitcoin holders to help pump the price like in 2017. Sounds crazy and it probably is, but maybe certain core developers are just pretending to be dishonest and incompetent right now to help a possible fork materialize to pump the market with free airdropped money?

Mmmm that is a very good aproach but i feel like you overthink it. I think is more basic economics and plus is made by the Orange men. What this means? Well in economics one of the first things you learn about its poor people is the sector who consume the most, so when fill them with money all that money goes into the real economy and into consuption og goods and services and with that you dinamize the economy pretty fast and the "people" see it on the streets and feel like every is going on tracks and working good. They are not gonna save it they are gonna spend it. Plus taking out taxes from the less favoured people is always a good and demagogic politics.

I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of couples of every western (or, indeed, any) European country would be classified as "poor" by the above definition.
