Also... I am not currently worried one whit about this EARLY ADDRESSES move... even with it's Salamon Bros connection.

Spooky though.

That said... why I came here to post...

I have switched over to knots entirely.  In spite of the code being managed by one fairly loony DEV.  I hope with all my heart there are others... he said there were.  But the arrogance of core... they need to learn a lesson.  But more importantly than that (by far) we need to keep bitcoin ... bitcoin.  Small and agile.

But I honestly do not think it is such a big deal...  At least not yet. But I will always support the side of the equation is believe in more.  And it is clear.  And at the same time Core needs to be smacked into slowing the ^&*( down.

I reserve the right to change my mind as early as tomorrow.

This is all very interesting. I’m not sure what to think about it. I had sort of been operating under the personal thought that this could somehow be related to mtgox. In a few weeks all the folks who got funds from mtgox will be eligible to sell and take long term capital gains. The timing to me feels like this is an American whale looking to finally cash out. I realize these coins weren’t from gox, but BTC is fungible and maybe where his new coins went is better secured. Just a thought.

It could also be a setup, just to cover up the identity of the owner of the original wallets. Pretending to "take over" the wallets by a middleman (mentioned Solomon Bros) and in turn cash out or even convert (sell than buy again elsewhere), in case his old identity is known to someone by wallet address from the old days or so.
Keeping it private in those KYC days?
Perhaps, perhaps...?

A good way to clean the corn, oh look what i just randomly found just sitting there unclaimed for 15 years, so i just take a clean possession. And hire a NYC asset manager to litigate.

Edit: and wtf did i just read? FUD of some exploit just because some old coins moved?

Well, I can randomly find a few fat addresses, but there's this nagging issue with the $*&#! private key. They won't believe it's mine to take  Huh

NYKNYC but even if you did obtain lots of corn from questionable sources, rug pulls, exchange "hacks" etc... suddenly finding a billion $ in "unclaimed" bitcoin and just laying a "new" claim on it is a great way to clean them.

Are we going to be nominated for the richest public forum today?

We have a fund of 1196 $BTC or equivalent to $129,083,136 for now at Bitcoin price of $108K. Shocked
