Happy Birthday Bitcoin!!

You are now 17 years old and brought everybody who believed in you so much freedom and joy! Thanks for being here!

Also thanks to the WO people who stood up for you even in your weakest of times...

edit:
it's actually not 18th of August everywhere in the world anymore...

What happened on August 18 17 years ago (that would be 2008) that relates to bitcoin?

I thought that the first thing that anyone publicly knew about bitcoin was October 31, 2008 when the Bitcoin white paper was released?

Fuck too sleep drunk. Misread my news. It was actually bitcoin.org that was launched on Aug 18th... Roll Eyes

Ok..  Fair enough.  I was wondering if I might have had been missing something.

That is already a surprise to me.  I had spent quite a bit of time helping a friend with various aspects of his TSP, so I had not even known about a mutual fund window.. and so I might need to look into that with my friend.. and/or have my friend look to see, or maybe I can look with him in the coming days.. I am not sure if all federal government employees have access to the same TSP or if some might have some different access.. My understand that TSP is available to federal civil employees and military and retired.. but not to contractors. and I would imagine anyone who had an eligible government position for long enough to vest (which I believe is 3 years).. ... but I think that pension benefits needs at least 5 years to vest.. . but I think that there is ONLY one level of TSP.. which I did not know about anything beyond the 5 funds and yeah of course the Life funds are merely combinations of the base 5 funds that are available.

here is a buzz kill From google ai:

"Yes, coyotes do hunt roadrunners. While roadrunners can outpace some predators, they are not always successful in escaping a determined coyote. Coyotes are opportunistic hunters and will prey on roadrunners when the opportunity arises, especially if the roadrunner is unable to find a safe perch or escape route.

AI Overview
No, coyotes are faster than roadrunners. Roadrunners can run at speeds up to 20 miles per hour, while coyotes can run up to 40 miles per hour. Coyotes are faster and can easily outpace a roadrunner.
Elaboration:
Roadrunner Speed:
Roadrunners are known for their speed on the ground, preferring to run rather than fly. They can reach speeds of up to 20 miles per hour (32 km/h), according to www.speedofanimals.com. "
