I just came here to confirm my suspicion about this. It's really crazy how much influence central banks have on everything!

Isn't the current state of affairs absolutely farsical.

One guy hints at a possible rate cut and prices jump up as if someone shoved a rusty pipe up their rear end.

The sooner we get away from dirty FIAT the better I say.

When we finally get the world onto a Bitcoin standard we wont be having these ridiculous price swings on the hint (not even the actual word) of a rate cut.

Believe me I am not complaining that NGU since I stand to benefit from that scenario, I am just tired of this emotional rollercoaster and long for a financial world with a little more stability.

Not to glorify trading, but there are likely ways to learn too, as long as we do not get too greedy, and personally I could not justify more than 10% of my BTC holdings being employed in such direction, yet there are likely some guys (based on their skill set) who might be able to reasonably justify 30% or more of the size of their BTC holdings getting deployed in such trading/hedging plays.

I am the one that posted a picture of my antenna on the DIY forum back a few years ago along with a picture of a commercial tower I climbed in NC.  

I did not post a picture of my Ham radio equipment on that other website.

OK, that wasn't as clear in your first response to my original post.
However, people are experienced and suspicious in these here parts (for reasons).
It might sound funny to some WO's but i wouldn't post too much private stuff here, to avoid said 5$ wrench experiences, expecially from the view of the person not holding the wrench. I mean funny, because i tend to overdo that private thing myself, but i'm very cautious doing this private thing.
I hope you will continue to contribute useful, entertaining and Bitcoin (not "crypto") stuff to this beautiful sub-community called "The Wall Observers"

well here is a nicer gadget. I get zero for it. but it has mined non stop since last December.

and it gives me nice prices. Color green for up and red for down.

Actually, i'm a bit torn (wait, when am i actually not torn a bit?) about the idea to hook up 1 256 character oled display, which i happen to have lying around, to a raspberry PI3 for a bitcoin ticker, but i also fell in love with that "pihole" procject, which is a DNS server inside my LAN that filters requests to ads and malware...
What makes it more complicated is that i only have one idle PI3 and the oled display was intended for building a Eurorack module (for community sale), but i'd need to design and order a front panel for it, which i am procrastinating since a couple of years now.
First world problems  

EDIT: My hardware supplier (at work) ran out of stock yesterday, so i had to stop working (too much and too fast, lately anyway) until Monday.
Expect some more on- and offtopic garbage from me within that timeframe

EDIT: We have a lot of Newbie shitposters in here as the times were going on. This is why some of us are more suspicious about Newbies than the rest. Some call them by the reason they are mostly here for: "Merit whores". After all those scammers, spammers and beggars before the sMerit system was established.
I went down that route too, i was a Newbie myself and every ounce of respect you get in the WO is not earned easily. I wasn't delighted, i felt unwelcome at times, but today i know why, despite i'm some of the worst when it comes to social regards. Just sayin.
