Last night I re-watched Nightmare Alley (2021).

Powerful movie, with great performances, and a compelling plot. One of Guillermo del Toro's best.

Recommended watch.

The halving is already mostly irrelevant. 450 coins per day is nothing for a trillion dollar asset class.

It’s what the miners mine for, so not at all irrelevant, unless you believe like the fuckbot that hashrate is irrelevant.
OK, with excessive energy, but still. POS anyone?
I do get your point though.

You need to look again what the daily volume and liquidity are..

I gather there has been an update on liquidity. We shall see.

Irrelevant in terms of price pressure, that was my point. That the halving was related to the 4 year market cycle was partially a correlative coincidence, you will see soon enough. If the 4 year cycle dies now, was there ever really a 4 year cycle at all? Or was this just another case of false pattern recognition something that humans are well known for?  Smiley

I am not giving up on the 4-year cycle, yet I am also not giving up on the top not yet being in, yet.

In other words.

Why not both?

Exactly.

We need to bring proudhon in here to teach some basic maths and sciences.

Is it bullish or bearish that he didn't show up to let us know that bitcoin was finally dead this time, because it is, I'm sure. He would tell us.

It is time to revive the perma bull market theory.  Wink

We just have to hope the four year cycle is dead and 2026 is a good year. I do not want to sit through another, stinking bear market but it is what it is. We watch and wait…….
I have to admit. I’m thinking that too.
But, I’m still a firm believer of the 4 year cycle. Until rewards diminish further, and miners do whats what - cycles are still intact imo.
That means, since we’re already 1, almost 2 months in the bear, that hello 2026 October bottom @$50k-$60k. Seems to be shifting one month …

I believe 2026 will be a good year and will bring a lot of opportunity for investors to make a good return and recover from the bear period. This bearish period have alter some investment plan of many investors but I'm hopeful that 2026 will comes with bullish that will made many millionaires and billionaires through Bitcoin.

But, I’m still a firm believer of the 4 year cycle. Until rewards diminish further, and miners do whats what - cycles are still intact imo.
That means, since we’re already 1, almost 2 months in the bear,

Ok.  We had a high of $126,272 on October 6, and so we had a strong drop on December 10 with a flash crash down to $108k-ish on Bitstamp, but some other exchanges had crashed down to $103k-ish.

So then largely after December 10, we had a slow bleed that seemed to have had experienced more and more snowballing momentum once it got close to $100k and then sub $100k that brought us down to $80,537 on November 21 (right around 10-ish days ago) with a so far recovery that puts us mostly in the lower $90ks.. currently, as I type this post  (Ok.. Edit: . .Just dropped down to $87.2k-ish.. and still seems to be dropping, as I hit "send").

So, you are thinking that we are in the early stages of a bear market based on being on a schedule ?  or based on the amount of price drop that has taken place so far?

What are the odds that you are premature in your call?

How long are you imagining such bear market to last?  a year or so? or some other timeline?

I get the sense that you are as delusional as the various others who believe that bitcoin is on some kind of a schedule?

Don't get me wrong, I am not negating the power of the 4-year fractal - yet I doubt that a mere supposed existence of a schedule is enough to take this out of the bull market that we are likely still in (until such facts and/or movements of the price take us out of our current bull market).

Or?  Maybe you think that flipflopping between bull and bear markets just happens easily, and you are suggesting that a 36% correction has to be some kind of strong enough set of facts to transition dee cornz into a bear market?

I get the sense that you are just guessing.. but hey, maybe I am discriminating against forum newbies?  perhaps?  perhaps?

that hello 2026 October bottom @$50k-$60k. Seems to be shifting one month …

O.k.  So you are projecting that we are getting $50k to $60k in around October 2026.

How strong do you feel about that?  Do you consider it to be bettable?  Or maybe you are just throwing out random ideas without hardly any reference.

Think about the 200-WMA.  Right now it is slightly higher than $56k, so in a year, at minimum the 200-WMA would be about $10k more.

I recall one theory, a while back, in which the suggestion was that the bull market is not over until the 200-WMA reaches the prior ATH spot price, which coincidentally was $69k.. so we still have $13k-ish to go before that would end up happening - and not that I am proclaiming that such a thing would have to happen before this particular bull market would be over (which you seem to be presuming is already over).

Bitcoin on the breaks,
forms the S on the S curve,
adoption pending.

I think that it would be problematic for one of Saylor's oft-repeating talking points, even if the maths/sciences justify such a bitcoin sale as being a good idea "on paper."

A new world in which "never" means "maybe."

ChartBuddy 5x streak.
I guess it shows the boredom around the market at the moment. People are waiting for the next significant move after what’s been a horrific November performance so far.

I was lying in bed last night, thinking about Bitcoin. We just have to hope the four year cycle is dead and 2026 is a good year. I do not want to sit through another, stinking bear market but it is what it is. We watch and wait…….
Same here, I'm somehow not convinced that $127k was the top. Either the 4 year cycles are done or we'll have an extended cycle with a late top in Q1.

$150-170k could be the range we're talking about.  Cool

Good idea serveria.

LET IT BE SO!!!!!!

The halving is already mostly irrelevant. 450 coins per day is nothing for a trillion dollar asset class.
It’s what the miners mine for, so not at all irrelevant, unless you believe like the fuckbot that hashrate is irrelevant.

I gather there has been an update on liquidity. We shall see.

I cannot recall any debates about hashrate being irrelevant, even though there are frequent debates about whether price follows hashrate or whether hashrate follows price.  It is not a dead debate, since it still comes up from time to time.

And, as a supposed newbie you have strong opinions on some of these topics?

We need to bring proudhon in here to teach some basic maths and sciences.
Is it bullish or bearish that he didn't show up to let us know that bitcoin was finally dead this time, because it is, I'm sure. He would tell us.

Something seems to be up with the llama.

He might have gotten hit by a bus?  or maybe by an asteroid.... not to wish ill on anyone.

I don't know why you are so compelled to use bear versus bull, when you can merely talk about a correction..   Comes off as misleading to me.

Hey CBUDDY!,

-this weekend was very crab since last wednesday,

-was a figth with 'buyers x sellers' ! ! !

-volume are giving hope, in the week begin, some pumps, maybe, the price will find some over 100k, maybe 103, 106, on next month some dumps, maybe the price will find 80, 70k numbers, im not wrong if this not happen, btc price  that will be wrong if he don't do this... hahaha....

-what I have just said, It was inspired by some 'cosmic jives', and I don't intend to come here to make predictions to tell truths and or lies, I just come here to write, and my words written here, are scribbles, just like this scribble below represents what I'm saying, but the most important in this scribble of the following image, is that it represents that the price of bitcoin points upwards in the long term. But in the short term, the crowd vibrates anyway.

#ow buddy, I realized that I posted a little late and December had already started.. damn...
