Self-Custody is a right. Say no to "non-custodial"

JJG - All you want to do is make posts with wordy messages and argue with people and stir up shit - and if that means you lie about something or claim something that didn't happen, you absolutely don't care because that's the MO of a thug bully. You should be ashamed of yourself but it's clear you don't have the moral fortitude to be a good person...

Whether you perceive me as a bully or not, we are communicating in a quasi-public thread, sometimes the responses will not be aimed at any personal matter, but instead to address some kind of an issue that is being raised, and in your case there continues to be a lot of contradiction in your claim to be here to talk about bitcoin and learn about bitcoin, yet you are either equating the various paper products, or even implying them to be better, while at the same time claiming that you are not doing that... which I think it seems obvious to a lot of members reading this thread that you are trying to push a certain version of bitcoin that borders on either a shitcoin and/or an attack on bitcoin, even if these various "trusted third-parties" are supposedly backing up their sales of shares with actual bitcoin,

and many of us (beside just myself) remain skeptical of the honesty of various third-party custodians who are providing financial products, whether we are referring to the BTC spot ETFs, and/or Saylor and the various bitcoin treasury companies and/or the extent to which it is healthy to keep a lot of coins custodied on exchanges.  You poo-poo those concerns and proclaim that learning about private wallets is not for you... and surely wallet of satoshi is not self-custody, even though sure Rome was not built in a day.. yet at the same time you seem to poo-poo a variety of nuances, even though you claim to be wanting to learn about mining.. why don't you buy a Bitaxe or some small miner?

I doubt that vary many guys trust you in your representations, including your representation to be interested in learning about bitcoin, since you are pushing things that are either attacks on bitcoin and/or seem to be against learning actual bitcoin.. It is like you are wanting to learn a misrepresentation of bitcoin.. some financialized version of bitcoin but then impose that idea on this thread while acting like a know it all.. hardly humble at all in your supposed learning process, which humility and openness would seem to be a good characteristic of any actual serious and/or genuine student (whether a student of bitcoin or any other topic).

Umm, I take it that it's common practice for many here to use mind-altering drugs...  Shocked

Well, of course, don't you?

Nope, no way! I know better... I don't want any chance of becoming a helpless loser druggie, stoner, junkie, or addict.
Only the black stripes that your doctor prescribes to you.

My BMI is roughly 20, my HRV is great, blood pressure excellent, not talking about IQ, financed and built a home, couple kids, a pretty, smart and loving wife, at age more than half a century.
Used drugs since age 16, more responsibly since age 20-ish*, some daily for years or even decades, rarely the bad stuff, never the worst stuff, no addictions.
I was occasionally forced to quit (holidays, stays at hospitals...), had no problems whatsoever, just had to temporarily give up the usual benefits.
Most of the application is medical/therapeutical with occasional recreational adventures in between.
I also was a heavy smoker and drinker until 35-ish. I don't miss a thing about it, i never turned back. Lesson learned, and i was quite lucky, mostly health wise, compared to my past companions.

It's said that autistic people have considerably less problems with substance addictions than normal people.
A close friend suffers severe pain from her period. She's diagnosed ASS + strong ADHD, uses Opioids for five days every month, no problems with addiction. She loves the frenzy, though, mainly because it works against her ADHD symptoms, but she never has a problem quitting the opioid painkillers after her period is over.
(I just remembered she said she can't stand the day of sweating much after coming off).

EDIT: It's binge-watching night. Have a good time y'all.

EDIT2: This was my 4444th posting as OOM here  Cool Just noticed after editing  Grin

  O. o.  m..... You who are always here at buddy's bar, are respectful people, I would love to talk about water, that they put antifreeze where necessary, that they put sodium orthophosphate, to clean the pipes, daily... And fluoride is not so good for teeth, Fluoride acts as a catalyst along with chlorine, forming stones in the kidneys......until the last century it was poison for crops, against pests........ I would like to talk much more, but no, I apologize for having saturated here these days....

Congratulations on the family, and for at the same time being here commenting for a long time....

....I was a good reader here on the forum, while I didn't have an account, and one day I decided to open a account ... But before I d read about how miner m CPU,.... ... was the subject that appeared in searches and 'BTT' always appeared......
......
My sister has a 15-year-old son, he is autistic and has Attention Deficit Disorder,.... I have long preferred the path of medicinal herbs and their cultures, but I remember very well when her son was about two years old,.. and he took the triple vaccine, I realized that his soul was disconnecting from the thread of his spine and his eyes began to have a deep look, when I realized that he would not come back... a process of a few months.... it was really similar to the loss of the soul, I remember the sharp look I had,, and he was happy, nowadays he don't let go the cell phone, and the worst, the mother leaves.... don't even care.... sad world.......

,,,time has passed... after the accident I died but I'm still alive and hit my head hard in a bike tone.... my head didn't get any better,... But, cannabis is expectorant if smoked, and tobacco impregnates the lungs with alkcatrao, like wood varnish... I smoke both, I smoke a lot of tobacco and little marijuana... but I should do the opposite...It would be much better for my health in many ways... Always in moderation, in my case, to sleep and improve attention, it all depends on the previous mental objective.

Strategy CEO Phong Le says the company’s newly built $1.44 billion cash reserve is designed to quiet investor anxiety over its ability to withstand a sharp downturn in Bitcoin.

The firm raised the funds in just eight and a half days, aiming to show it can still attract capital without selling any Bitcoin.

Strategy has announced that it has 71 years of dividend coverage if the Bitcoin price decides to remain flat - says it will only consider selling BTC if its stock falls below NAV.

Damn, you guys have a history I'm thankfully unfamiliar with - having never once even thought about wanting to try any kind of recreational drug. I was too much of a strait-laced academic and definitely career-oriented.

I wouldn't even know where to get it, I didn't hang out with any friends that used drugs - and I certainly didn't want to disappoint my family or ruin my future by having a record for substance abuse or doing something stupid while under the influence. That mindset has served me well and I don't regret it...

Do you ever drink?

I'll have a margarita or glass of wine four or five times a year when at a nice restaurant for dinner or attending a celebration.  I really don't care for the taste of alcohol...

Yeah my wife does not get high. with illegal or legal drugs to each his own.

at esg  I am sorry about your nephew. Autism sucks.

But my bro in law is autistic and was born in 1950. No Florine and not  a lot if any vaccines.

It has been a shitty life for him since he was ahead of his time. He is now 75 and suffers from dementia and he is also being looked at for kidney cancer. We will find out when and if he will need to do surgery on it.

Just think a demented autistic person getting cancer surgery should be fun.

BTW he is more like Sheldon from big bang theory ie a more mild case of autism.

I wish your nephew good luck.

BTW I drink filtered water only. I have the ability to test its purity and it is close to empty water.

I can do electrolysis with it. Always a good sign of clean water.

I can not do electrolysis from the tap water.

Full disclosure: --snip--

Jimbo, I appreciated your frank testimony. Not a coke guy myself, but I did try it twice when I was around 20 - more than a few days before yesterday. It was a guy in the band, quite a bit older than me. Incidentally, he was the bass player.

Cocaine is a natural stimulant from coca leaves, novocaine is a synthetic local anesthetic with no psychoactive effects.

Cocaine was the favorite choice as a local anesthetic in dentistry UNTIL it was superseded by Novocaine.
Because of obvious reasons, but i am sure you can use google for yourself, no?

Quote
Since education is so valuable…

I'm not the one looking dumb now, and you know that.
But i guess you won't admit, as always...

I had my times with Cocaine as well, but i found it boring. It's providing tack sharp focus of mind, and yeah, hours of rabbit-like sex, but the aftermath made me decide it's just not worth it. As for Jimbo's experience, smoking felt more addictive than snorting to me, and it's quite heavy on the lungs too. ...Says the one formerly hitting bhongs so long that another person had to put it on fire.
Who invented these anyway? Dennis Rodman or just some Pothead having Orang-Utan-like arms?
