Yesterday my father died at age 82. He was like the sun in my life. Never tired of taking care of me and my mom, which died 12 years ago. In the last 4 years he was struggling with severe brain damages and dementia. Although he wasn't the same man, I was with him until hiis last breath. I'm so sad and heart broken. At least he was happy to see me getting rich beyond his dreams and expectations, thanks to bitcoin. It all started because of him. He loved to read newspapers and one day he showed my an article and asked me if I know about Bitcoin, which was produced by computers as a reward of solving complex mathematical problems. I started reading about it and so it began. I hope he is in heaven now toghether with my mom. Rest in peace, my dear father!
Sorry to hear it man... You did good being beside him until the end. It meant a lot to him, no matter the dementia. Your father was still there somewhere in that changed man, and he appreciated it. Time will heal the wound, but the scar will remain -- and so it should. May you be strong and remember him. Wise words! Good on you...

I go pepper free because the wife is anti pepper.
Anti pepper! What's wrong with that woman? I'll take mine medium to medium-well, there Mr. Roast Chef! From my perspective (going by looks), that rare in the above picture is not rare enough in order to be called rare. From my thinking the top cut, is closer to medium rare. I think that I like the below picture better to differentiate between rare and medium rare. Oh? and regard to the well-done, I suppose that it could still be juicy, yet so often once you get to well-done the juiciness will tend to be lost. And by the way, Phil? What is up with the "secret" ingredient? Don't you know that you can share your secrets with us? We are like one BIG happy family, here. You want to take your "secret" to the grave so that no one else can enjoy it? That is not very nice in this time of the year. Comparing today with yesterday, it is clear that it is Wall street morons who are doing "this".
Is it a fake out? real? or maybe stalling? Yesterday my father died at age 82. He was like the sun in my life. Never tired of taking care of me and my mom, which died 12 years ago. RIP to your dad.. and condolences to you and your family. We need to be careful in regards to a repeated error that many of us make, which is that bitcoin does not solve complex mathematical problems in order to be rewarded blocks, but instead repeatedly guess - which it is likely more fair to reward based on guessing rather than solving problems, since even though more powerful computers are more likely to guess the answer more quickly, there are also less powerful computers and small players who are also rewarded from time to time - including perhaps potentials that the small computing power of millions (or billions) of smaller miners could potentially of outpowering the fewer but BIGGER players. Also, if the BIGGER players go out of business and/or are attacked, the smaller players could end up being the ONLY players that end up supporting the totality of bitcoin's network.

My condolences. I can understand what you are feeling right now, having lost my own dad in only July this year. You did the right thing, taking care of him until the end. And you should be proud of that.

Okay the secret ingredient is if you make a roast of lamb a roast of pork a roast of beef a brisket of beef. you do them slow slow slow low temp 190-225f all of them will leave a lot of great tastings liquid in the roast pan. So the liquid in those pans is strained and filtered. Than placed in a container Tupperware a mason jar whatever. It is a starter for new meals The primary flavor they give is umami . below is from AI: Umami is the fifth basic taste, a Japanese term meaning "pleasant savory taste," described as meaty, brothy, or deeply savory, and it enhances other flavors, found naturally in aged cheeses, mushrooms, tomatoes, fermented foods (soy sauce, miso), and meats. It's triggered by glutamates and nucleotides, creating a mouth-watering, lingering sensation that signals the presence of protein-rich foods essential for health, discovered by scientist Kikunae Ikeda in the early 1900s. What it tastes like Savory & Meaty: A rich, satisfying flavor, distinct from sweet, sour, salty, or bitter. Brothy & Deep: Similar to a well-made soup or seared meat. Mouth-coating: Creates a pleasant, lingering sensation on the tongue. I used this one from a roast of lamb As for medium the two images above are both okay for me. As in both cases if I get the meat to look that way the taste of pink is gone.

my preferences are below I've even had well done a couple of times but done by professional and their choice of meat but I couldn't remember the cuts it was too long ago. Contrary to many arguments I've seen online, it is pretty tasty when properly done and I think that doneness is even harder to do right than most of the others. Even a slight mistake makes it completely bland and dry, which is what most people experience with it I guess. With others if you make a small mistake it is alright it may just not be what exactly you wanted but it won't ruin it. In preferences I am basically like you on that picture. Nothing wrong with any of those. If someone argues about it, it is often because they have nothing better to do..

Okay the secret ingredient is if you make

I SLOW roasted a turkey yesterday for the first time and I was quite pleased with how it came out. Definitely will be doing this more often, probably in place of my typical pork roasts. As for medium the two images above are both okay for me.
As in both cases if I get the meat to look that way the taste of pink is gone.
I recently found a burger place (Badass Burgers) that makes a mean rare burger (with a deep fried slice of cheese on it). Almost rare to the point I have to question it. I've had probably 10 of them in the last month. Delicious.

I was doing research on Gold price and saw the price chart for last 5 years. From 2021 to 2023, increase in price of gold was steady but in year 2024 and 2025 there is enormous increase in price of Gold. I have two questions in my mind: Why gold price went so high in last two years? Whenever any market goes extraordinary high, it takes correction. Is that true for gold also? To the extent that your question about such shitcoin is even relevant in these here parts, I am not going to claim to be any kind of macro-expert, yet I would imagine that something in 2024 was causing more and more losses in confidence in various fiat systems (probably including the dollar and no real solutions out of the greatness of the debt problem), so perhaps after the momentum changes, then there can be some additional contagion that comes from the momentum. I don't think it's a good approach to Gold a shitcoin or compare it will shitcoins. It's a precious metal for humans for centuries. Bitcoin has it's own importance but we can't ignore worth of other assets Gold does not necessarily have to come back down, even though surely gold is inferior to bitcoin in several ways, so the higher gold prices likely incentivizes further exploration of gold and building up around gold, so there could come some discoveries that gold is inferior to bitcoin in terms of how the additional explorations of gold end up playing out to show that gold continues to be inferior to bitcoin even though it is going through some revival.
Does gold plateau? or continue to go up? or correct? I don't claim to know, even though I have pretty good confidence that bitcoin is currently superior to gold and I also have pretty decent confidence that bitcoin will likely continue to be superior to gold into the future...so my tentative ideas of bitcoin as compared with gold helps to inform my own actions in regards to how I treat my bitcoin as compared with if I were to consider any allocation to gold... which is that I don't have any inclination to buy gold, and I don't have any gold to sell, even though I would not consider that I am prejudiced in any kind of meaningful way by my not having any gold to sell (neither physical nor paper).
Gold has already proved itself as valuable asset and that's why big powers are accumulating it as alternative to fiat. Bitcoin is no doubt a valuable asset and getting trust of people with every passing day. Biodom very well explained that for 20 years (from 1980 to 2000) gold prices were on decline. After 2000 Gold price is going up and for last two years there is unprecedented increase in gold price.
