claiming control over their oil sector.

"claiming control over their oil sector."  is not the same > is controlling.

Russian oil firm says it will keep its Venezuela assets after US military operation

>Russia's state-owned Roszarubezhneft says its Venezuelan oil assets belong to the Russian state.

>Roszarubezhneft holds stakes in oil joint ventures with Venezuela's state-owned PDVSA energy giant.

>President Trump has talked about US control and investment after the January 3 military operation.

"All assets of Roszarubezhneft JSC in Venezuela are owned by the Russian state," the
ompany said in a statement carried by Russian news agency TASS on Tuesday.

Roszarubezhneft took over Rosneft's Venezuelan holdings in 2020 after
US sanctions forced the oil giant to exit. It now holds stakes in
five joint ventures with Venezuela's state oil company PDVSA.

Russia Claims Ownership of Oil Assets It’s Developing in Venezuela

Roszarubezhneft plans to further develop its assets in Venezuela, the company said.

“The company will continue to strictly honor its obligations in close coordination with its international partners, focusing on the sustainable development of joint oil production projects, infrastructure, and an effective response to emerging challenges,” the Russian state-owned firm added.

(Yes, I have already posted these two news above in another post)

According to some sources, there would be an invasion in Iran last week,
and after that... Bellow... The plan was aborted...

‘Kill Switch’—Iran Shuts Down Musk’s Starlink For First Time

Updated on Jan. 13 with new reports into Starlink restrictions and users being hunted down by the Iranian authorities, as well as Musk’s offer of free connectivity.

We have not seen this before. Iran’s digital blackout has now deployed military jammers, reportedly supplied by Russia, to shut down access to Starlink Internet. This is a game-changer for the Plan-B connectivity frequently used by protesters and anti-regime activists when ordinary access to the internet is stopped..

“Despite reports that tens of thousands of Starlink units are operating inside Iran,” says Iran Wire, “the blackout has also reached satellite connections.” It is reported that about 30 per cent of Starlink’s uplink and downlink traffic was (initially) disrupted," quickly rising “to more than 80 per cent” within hours.

The Times of Israel says “the deployment of (Starlink) receivers is now far greater in Iran” than during previous blackouts. “That’s despite the government never authorizing Starlink to function, making the service illegal to possess and use.”.....
.....

...and after that, they sent 12 green berets and one or two C-17 GlobeMasterIII clogged with weapons to Silvio Pettirossi International Airport, Paraguay, for training of Paraguayan officers in six months.#(Arrived in Paraguay, Saturday 10 January)
>

US Special Forces to train Paraguayan Military

Asunción, Agencia IP.- As part of the Crisis and Contingency Response Program,
a US Air Force C-17 aircraft arrived in Paraguay on Saturday carrying weapons
and ammunition to be used to train Paraguay’s Joint Special Forces Battalion.

This new training will be a continuation of the 2025 six-month program.
The training, from special forces to special forces, lasts five years.
Approximately 40 members of the Joint Special Forces Battalion will participate
in the training, which begins on January 19 and runs until July 9,
Colonel José Flor, the battalion’s commander, told 970 AM radio.

-Well, they're getting ready for something I don't know,
but in the same way I don't know that, I also don't know why
this week btc usd is testing last week's Pivot support,
until ninety-two that is still beautiful in the daily, below that,
it starts to get ugly, only the 'tringlings' of Buddy's fairy

I start to understand why Greenland is so important to the peace-uber-negotiator-in-command:

It's Got Electrolytes!

I've always found it extraordinary that we might have a president who is only a couple tweaks away from President Camacho.

They have more in common than apart, I think.

After all, he did rename the Department of Defense, the Department of War.

Haha. Yup.

Everyone: Why do they call it the department of defense when it's so often used for war?
Trump: Renames it the Department of War
Everyone: Shocked Pikachu face.

It's next level stuff. Dude's a wizard.

Thanks to the New York Stock Exchange Tokenized Securities Platform you will soon be able to buy a tokenized version of the IBIT exchange traded fund. That could possibly be a sign for where we’re at in the market currently…

I would be embarrassed to be an American right now.

You must be in some struggling EU country like maybe Netherlands or Belgium with relentless political instability, and a pathetic government... I don't think it would be very wise for any EU country to be picking a fight with the U.S.!

@OgNasty - Well, speaking of Blackrock's IBIT spot Bitcoin exchange traded fund - it's being reported that institutions accumulated 577,000 BTC, worth approximately $53 billion, over the past year. That is almost 3% of the total circulating supply! This demonstrates continued strong institutional demand for Bitcoin. CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju said that institutional demand for Bitcoin remains strong - including ETF holdings with capital continuing to flow in.

I think by year-end 2026 that institutions will have accumulated at least twice the 2025 amount or about 6% or more of the total circulating supply...and from there I think accumulation will sky rocket quickly. When institutions accumulate 10% or more of the supply we'll have a whole new exciting situation! A lot of the institutional accumulation will be in tax-deferred retirement accounts that will not be touched for many years (often many decades), except for small dollar percentage RMD withdrawals.

This is all good and very promising for Bitcoin!
