Afghanistan is on the west of Pakistan while India is on its eastern side, both countries are hostile towards Pakistan. Things started getting tense due to recent terrorist attacks inside Pakistan on security forces, which Pakistan claim that Afghanistan is carrying out with aid of India.

The current Afghan regime can't fight a direct war with armed forces of Pakistan but they have the capability to fight for long term like they did with USA and NATO troops. This is something Pakistan military regime failed to understand or overlooking.

You have hit the nail on the head in my opinion. Self custody is really the only solution to the attack vector we may be seeing in play right now.

The thing is, it doesn't even have to be some plan or conspiracy. As incentives and trade-offs change when more and more Bitcoin is under centralized custody.

And if there is a way to exploit certain tradeoffs, then it will happen.

On the other hand, it also sets up a kind of situation that is very similar to what happened with GameStop a little while back with the exception that Bitcoin was actually designed for that effect.

The idea of a digital bearer asset is a light bulb which simply hasn't come on for the majority of people that know the word bitcoin.

You can HODL as long as you get to a certain BTC stack size first, and once you get to a sufficient enough size you can also sell whenever you need to.

Sure, it could take a bit of time to get a stack to a sufficient enough size. .. .

At this point, a couple of cycles (maybe starting their BTC stacking 8 years ago January 2018) may well could have had gotten a guy to a stack of a sufficient enough BTC stack size, and especially guys who might have had been able to stack in the neighbor hood of 20% or more of their income per year.

Guys who were ONLY stacking 12% to 17% of their income should have had been able to get to a sufficient enough stack if they had started accumulating 10 years algo (January 2016)

Anyone want to see examples (aka hypotheticals?)?

OT: have you seen these news: jack Dorsey's XYZ (Block..the one that has the Cashapp) fired almost half of of employees (at least more than 40%) saying that they would use AI instead (for these positions). WS rewarded them by a 16.82% stock jump due to the fact that their profit margins went from 20% to 26%.

Now, imagine this happening in many other S&P500 companies...
