I've noticed many Trezor/Ledger phishing emails passing through the spam filter and ending up in my inbox. They are more polished than usual and almost look legit, until you see the sender's address and examine the links inside them.

Be extra careful. I know most if not all of us here are experienced enough to spot them, but one can never be too careful. From getting contact details to stealing seeds and passphrases, be extra careful with your coins.

I got an actual snail mail letter. Looked pretty good. Except it was signed by the "ceo of ledger"

I also got a phone call from "paypal" asking for info I told him " listen to me carefully you are just fishing"

He answered yeah and hung up.

So yeah be careful.

Scamming on the rise.

Oh silver tanked hard  93 to 81

One thing I miss about having my phone set to ignore calls that aren’t in my phone book is all the wonderful and ridiculous things I would say to try and keep them on the line as long as possible. It really did become something I enjoyed. Oh well.

Silver’s move suggesting the bull run in metals is behind us?

I am fairly much unemployed, so i'll not likely be taking very many buying opportunities.

OK, so what was your average sell price, and what percentage of your holdings did you sell?

I'm not sure what you're asking this for. Did I say I sold something?  I said I am not currently a buyer because I am broke.

Motorola has always been a brand I have respected and admired over the years, and this may well be a good reason to finally own one of their smartphones. I hope this catches on, and GrapheneOS becomes a worthy alternative, clean, privacy-focused phone OS, because the Android/iOS "divide" is really two sides of the same coin, a.k.a. we are the product.

Good luck to it. I hope it catches on though, because projects like this often die young.

Ironically, I have owned almost only Motorola phones for quite some time. More than a decade I would suspect.  My reason is, I like their clean Android implementation. And they make decent hardware except for their damn cameras. But most of all, their hardware is cheap, and I am a cheapskate. 😁

When I had worn out my last Motorola phone, I decided to move over to a pixel for the express reason of Graphene.

Lol.

I'm about to reinstall it because after I installed it on the phone it was a bit too disruptive to navigate all of the things I would have to navigate to use it with my work.

honest question, do you still think 126k to 59k was a massive bear trap?

(I would love it to be one)

I know you weren't asking me, but I also don't have the ability to hold my tongue.

I would guess that bear traps generally fall into a much shorter time frame than six months or so.

Yeah, I didn’t expect anything less from you, but we have a saying about that here in Greece, “let the goat of the neighbour die”.
This means that nobody gives a fuck, unless trouble comes knocking down on their own door.
That’s why the world has turned to shit, nobody actually cares.

Yes.

-It depends on the point of view, the point of view of those who faithfully believe
in the halving cycle, and or the point of view of those who see the market fluctuations,
in this case, what was said before the event, in my point of view, has greater relevance, however....

Confronting news:
[...]
Than...:

Current Bitcoin Setup is a Bull Trap, Expect Price to Drop Below $50,000

Bitcoin’s current price action between $85k and $95k is likely a bull trap after a record liquidation of longs, one analyst argues. The largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization has been experiencing one of its worst Q4s in history. Still, early December has shown some signs of price recovery, reclaiming the $90k level after revisiting the $81k support in November.

However, the analyst in question believes that the current price recovery below $100k support level is nothing but an eyewash; a bull trap designed for unwary long traders who think we are in for a strong showing at the start of 2026. Many of them have already tweeted regarding a strong Q1 2026 showing, arguing that the bull market and by extension the altseason have been delayed, not cancelled altogether.

But Leshka, with over 170,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter), is unfazed and believes traders are falling for a classic bull trap pattern that will eventually lead to major losses for the crypto market, trapping unsuspecting users on the wrong side of the trend for a long time.

They tweeted:

“exact the same cycle as 2021

bull trap is loading

then $BTC fall to $40,000”

Maybe Daisy could be of help to us? A UK telecom company has created a bot called Daisy with the help of AI, and this bot answers scam calls and replies to messages stealing their time and protecting other users. I read that some scammers talked to such bots for quite a long time, completely unaware that they were not real people. I personally have a large blacklist of blocked numbers, and I have completely blocked some countries, successfully reducing the number of unwanted calls by at least 99%.

In an age where scams are everywhere, UK telecom giant O2 has introduced an innovative AI bot called Daisy. This AI grandma answers scam calls in real time, chatting with scammers to waste their time and protect real users. This technology shows how AI can be used to fight scams and offers a new way for telecom companies to stop fraud.

MARA has updated its treasury policy to allow sales of its accumulated Bitcoin. They currently hold 53,822 BTC.

The treasury companies are selling now and it has made it up the chain to one of the largest. They’re saying this move was to diversify and pivot to AI. Seems like they probably should have done that before prices crashed. Doing so now is suspect.

Feels a bit like we’re in no mans land. Obviously with a long enough timeframe there is never a bad time to buy Bitcoin but for me personally, the price is too low to justify selling any and it’s not low enough for me to want to buy any coins back with the fiat stash I am sitting on.

Patience is required during these times but I think it is better to do nothing now. I believe we will go sub 60k and maybe even bottom sub 50k.

They are afraid that it will devalue again and they want to dispatch the matter now.

I am going to improve it next month.
I am trying to add a most merited post chart on this.
Any other suggestion, more than welcome!

All good. I will let you know if anything comes in my mind.

I spent time in understanding Fig. 5. Correlazione mensile tra variazione prezzo BTC e volume post but wasn't able to comprehend that. Can you just explain this in one or two lines?

And don’t forget: if you love Bitcoin, short it.

honest question, do you still think 126k to 59k was a massive bear trap?

How can asking the same things - doing the same things - expect a different answer/result?
[a non-reply is also an answer]

Typical from a vlaka greaser, goat humper...

Please, for the sake of your massive cunt, do not, I repeat - do not - attempt to write anything in Greek or greekglish.
I’d rather you took a jab in Hebrew instead.

As for the insult, well, we both know that I’m neither, as we both know you just love sucking dicks for a living.
You are brawling with the truth, anything that comes out of your cunt mouth - is far from it.

"correlation between post volume and BTC price,"
as if when the price is falling, the number of posts also falls,
and when the price is rising... it seems the number of posts to increase...
- I found this correlation interesting...,

-----
-But what I have to tell you, that I admire you for not taking medicines
 from the pharmaceutical industry.
because I don't take it either, and this is very rare these days,
I can tell you that I have kidney stones, and last week, I managed to expels one,
which had been tangled up for a few months....
Lots of specific herbal tea for the case... and it was a little larger than a grain of rice,
1 cm long and 3 mm thick, it hurt, but I didn't take anything...
Sometimes I rarely take half aspirin, which used to be just ascetyl salisylic acid extract,
but I believe that nowadays there may be nanotechnology.
Be sure to learn natural medicine, and in difficult times, you may think about
going to the doctor and or taking some medication for treatment...,
even in these moments, I don't look for a doctor, I can say that I need a good orthopedist,
and in cases of surgery, we need to take certain medications, and anesthesia for
dental treatment, but sometimes there is no way to do certain procedures without anesthesia,
And the anesthesia goes straight to my kidneys, and I get very bad for a few days,
but I drink a lot of tea to help my body detoxify, but the damage has already been done.
And even so, .., I avoid taking medication as much as possible, and I'm glad you don't
take it, as long as you know and know what you're doing.

Over time, drinking plenty of tea, they will leave little by little,

It is possible, but remains to be seen.

NVDA declined from $30 to about $10 between Nov 14, 2021 and Oct 9, 2022, the rest is history (a surge from $10 to current $179).
Chances for bitcoin to repeat-maybe 20-30%, imho.

I have made another monthly DCA purchase of 0.01810707 BTC for $1,247 @ $68,868.13 per BTC.
Sweet! DCA is good in my book, but so is chunk buying or selling.
But how do you call it? You come here to post your monthly DCA BTC purchases, that are like a drop in the bucket, considering the amount of BTC you allegedly own.
How do you call that? Play book posting?

It doesn't add up - even if it were to be a good idea to sell dee cornz with intentions of buying back cheaper... which wings to buye found out from OgNasty that he is distracted into other possible things to buy (outside of dee cornz - who would-a-thunk?).

Should we feel sorry for those people who took advantage of the last drop on Friday/Saturday to sell, hoping to buy back days later at an even lower price than they sold for?  Roll Eyes

With bitcoin, it does not tend to be a good practice to sell with an expectation of buying back cheaper, even though from time to time, guys do get lucky.

MicroStrategy purchased 3,015 BTC, increasing its total corporate holdings to 720,737 BTC.
ahh that piece of shit finally getting some cheap corn

All coins are cheap when you are in your early-to-mid accumulation phase.

Regarding Strategy, they seem to be playing a different game since they are deploying tools and tactics to mostly use other people's money to increase their BTC stash to enormously high levels without too many encumbrances.

Many normal bitcoin enthusiasts (individuals and/or companies) would have had been satisfied with their first BTC purchase in August 2020 of around 21k bitcoin for around $250 million, and then maybe they could have had continued to deploy DCA of around $2.5 million per week - yet Saylor/MSTR was not content with merely using their own money to persistently, consistently and regularly buy bitcoin.

Think about it.  $2.5 million per week would have had still caused them to invest an additional $730 million and to have had accumulated close to another 21k bitcoin.. so they would have had invested around $1 billion and would have had accumulated 42k bitcoin in total.

Their ambitions were much larger than any normie of their then size (punching above their weight).

Down first to wipe out those leveraged cunts.

honest question, do you still think 126k to 59k was a massive bear trap?
(I would love it to be one)
Yes.

At least one of us still has hope.

Could you get the new ATH to come within the next 27-ish days?

#Just wondering.
