why don't he just go and print more currency notes to meet that demand? That is a very good question. But insanity is very hard to reason with.
Tick tock
Phil - It's pretty simple to explain if you even barely understand economics.
Printing more currency to fund $1.5T in increased military spending is avoided because it increases the money supply without boosting economic output. That would lead to severe inflation and decreased purchasing power. Such actions would cause economic instability, diminish trust in the U.S. dollar and worsen the national debt...
Now you know the answer why more currency notes aren't just printed to pay for increased military spending!
Both the House and Senate share control over the U.S. 'power of the purse' as part of Congress, so any such budget request must be approved by Congress.
An an aside, keep in mind how much the U.S. spends in preparation to defend NATO allies - - all while the NATO countries didn't have to spend much on their military - because they knew they could depend on the U.S. Well, that protection is not going to keep happening with NATO countries unwilling to pay their agreed upon fair share, and how the U.S. has been treated.
A big chunk of NATO countries are within range of Iran's ICBMs at 2,500+ miles, which has put much of Europe, even London in target range... Well, guess what? The U.S. has now greatly diminished the likelihood of Iran striking Europe yet NATO refused to lift a finger to help us. That decision won't easily be forgotten!!!
I hope Trump puts an end to that upside-down situation. Let the EU pussies and Canada defend themselves, and the U.S. will defend ourself!!! Fuck NATO!
BTW, Trump is not insane. Trump is sharp and his IQ is likely close to double yours, Phil. So, get off that stupid shit... You're making a fool of yourself saying stupid stuff like a left-wing radical Jane Fonda crazy with TDS. You're better than that...
I can't believe someone like you that served in the U.S. Navy and retired from a government job working for the IRS with a nice pension would take a stand like you have against our president, the administration cabinet members and those people that have been given orders by the commander-in-chief. You really should be ashamed of yourself and embarrassed by your stand against Trump.
