I have never owned a Chevy, but I did own an Oldsmobile Cutlass in my teens.  I feel like that was pretty American.  I also currently own the most American made truck you can find on the market today (queue the haters but I couldn't resist and had to do it) the Tesla Cybertruck!  Cool

Time travel

CHRYSLER DELMONT -----pale yellow
Oldsmobile Cutless ---------Black
Chevy Nova-----------------------Gold
Oldsmobile -----------------------Gold
Chevy Malibu --------------------green
Oldsmobile Delta 88----------dark carmine
Dodge Aspen---------------------gold

Buick ---------------------------------blue first new car 1999 this was nice care had to sell it because it was the same make and model as a car that stopped on the Verrrozano Bridge during the 911 attack . It used a gas powered grinder and cut a small support cable then fled. So I would cross this bridge 2 times a month and be stopped and checked by the cops at the toll booths. Wait around 4-5 minutes before they would let me leave. I decided the car was not safe as sooner or later a moron would decide maybe I was the same car shame as I like the car and had put in nicer then stock speakers

Buick ---------------------------------gold second new car
BUICK---------------------------------BLACK THIRD new car
CHEVY malibu------------------- silver new last american car

Kia forte -----------------------------black new first car purchased with btc
Kia sorento--------------------------silver new
Kia sorento--------------------------silver new wrecked it in 2021 got paid more for it then what I paid for it due to  covid
Hyundai-------------------------------black new first with leather interior.
Hyundai------------------------------- dark deep blue navy blue leather interior  new first hybrid this is what i have now.

All of these were four door sedans which I always preferred.

Honestly every one of the American cars old or new do not wear like the Korean cars.

Note cleaned up some typos.

My hybrid sonata that I have now was purchased prior to the 2024 election.

First hybrid.

Gets 50 MPG on local roads
Gets 45 MPG on highway at 70 miles an hour.
If I drive faster then 70 say 75-80 it gets 39-40 MPG

I am happy with it and will likely stick with hybrids as the USA does not want ev's to succeed.

Right...additionally, if a non-dominant hand gets injured, you might find out how much we are doing with both hands, actually.

Not me.

 Tongue

Oh since my bout of almost mind rusting I added about 0.06 btc.
Now over 1.8

2.0 is in site if all i do is mine I get there In 5 months time.
I think I will buy some more tonight.

You are getting harder and harder to believe - to the extent it even matters.

[edited out]
I'll keep it short:
It's that the pinky finger supports the ring finger laterally, so the index/middle(/thumb) finger combination can put more pressure against the lower stick (when looking at your hand's palm). It's way easier to hold slippery or heavier things than without the pinky.
#chopstickobserver out & #GN

I will not argue any point that you may well could possibly have a pinky that is much stronger than mine, relatively speaking, and/or perhaps a ring finger that is relatively weaker than my own seemingly robust ring finger.

In other words, my own ring finger no doesn't need no support from its nearby whimpy-ass pinky.  #just saying, and no purposeful pinky-hate intended to be happening here..  Wink

Intense hike on weekend.

Baleja meadows (Siran Valley) - Pakistan (height 10,000 ft)

What a beautiful sight of nature!
Hard to believe that, not even far away, people are trying to kill each other "in the name of god". They should have better worked their way up there and just looked at this fascinating result of a universal coincidence, or a zillion of series of mostly yet unknown universal events, resulting in a planet that resembles as a habitat for our species being able to live, survive and evolve, along with trillions of others.
For an agnostic like me, this all actually IS god.

God has created this planet in best state and humans have done little to improve it further rather they have done there best to destroy it. The destruction we have done to this planet is irreversible and irony is that we are not willing to stop the ongoing destruction process.

EDIT 2:
I'm starting to over-edit this post again, so i better go facing my demons again and leave the following for you until i return:

Good luck, have fun, don't die!

Sooner or later we all have to do. Enjoy the life and don't die before you actually die.  Smiley

I have good news for you: The planet will survive the humans. Ultimately and eternally.

Nothing matters anymore as soon as i'm dead.
So at least if anything matters, i'm surely alive, dead or not.
 Huh
You probably get it, though.  Grin

My little accident made me ask myself again how aging would feel from the inside. I see everyone around me experiencing something like that. They walk through the garden door's fence, while i still jump it. It's just this thought of "do it" every time. Psychologist call this "lack of impulse control".
I remember my cousin, as a pre-teen, asking himself (and me) what life will be like when we're old and weak and sitting in wheelchairs, when i instanly replied: "wheelchair races!".
Today he would laugh about those words, but i can feel how i still mean them. (EDIT: Reminding me of that threw me in a rabbit hole full of memories)
And i hope i won't die before getting my first Hands-on-Lamborghini (or maybe it will be a Tesla, who knows?)

@JJG:
Nor did i know such details about your hand(s) and fingers, neither did i want to (/irony)
In my case, and i still wonder if it's different for you (your hand(s)), but if i hold my hand horizontally, with relaxed fingers "stacked upon" vertically, i can quite easily bend down my middle finger if i push downwards with the other index finger (or thumb) on its tip. When i use the pinky finger to support the ring finger, it's much harder to bend (or tilt) down the ringy by actively trying to push it down. The pains in the right pinky when trying this stops me from actively supporting the ring finger at a much lower pressure, but it was much worse two days before.
Verdict: I should have better put the chopsticks in my left hand. But i don't want to know (or try) if this would have resulted in less mess on the floor (and pants)  Cheesy

This is good news for all of us but I fear that planet will lose its beauty, if humans continue to exist on this planet. Humans are not much interested in preserving the natural beauty of this planet.

Getting old is something we can't avoid. If you are young make sure you enjoy your life and do everything which requires energies. This is why I sell my btc from time to time to buy things of necessities or things that give my pleasure (like going out on vacations with family). If you want to have hands on Lamborghini and have sufficient funds in any form then go for it. Don't just wait for next 10 or 15 years for more profit.

Driving Lamborghini is more entertaining while you are in you 40s or 50s then in your 60s.
