Considering that I live in Europe and that I see with my own eyes how pronounced climate change is, I would think very carefully whether I want to invest in real estate in areas that have a real potential to turn into a very inhospitable area in the next 10-30 years. A few days ago, France was hit by a severe heat wave, the water in the rivers became so hot that they had to shut down nuclear reactors, and in fact, the whole of Europe is the continent that is warming up the fastest of all other continents.

Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, I will probably experience my first 40 degrees Celsius in my life. Therefore, I would look for a place on Earth where temperatures do not exceed 30 degrees Celsius in summer and do not drop below +10 degrees Celsius in winter.

Also, don't ignore the running costs. 56 BTC is the buying price. How much will it cost per year to maintain, heat, cool, pay taxes for it?

I see a huge money drain...

It looks very nice. To refresh my mind I sometimes sit on the bank of a big river in my area and if lucky I can see such a view.

Although there is no opportunity to have table chair and coffee.

BTW, Is it Surf Side Shores Gulf of Mexico?

My guess is the picture was taken at New Smyrna Beach, Florida or the Space Coast (Cocoa Beach / Satellite Beach area) from a 2nd or 3rd floor condo rental.

Maybe @cAPS will oblige us and let us know where he took the nice picture.

56 BTC for a hilltop villa in the South of France with 80 ancient olive trees actually sounds like a fun retirement plan.

Producing your own branded olive oil paid for by Bitcoin is peak sovereignty.

Too bad the interior looks like a mix of Bali, LA, and a complete waste of renovation money, otherwise it would be a solid deal.

Looks like ChartBuddy's server is not time-syncing... Its clock is running a little slow, resulting in each post coming slightly later on the hour, and the time shift is cumulative.

I estimate it at 2-3 seconds / day slower.

chartbuddys calculations run at a large percentage of the speed of light, thus the time dilation effect

That's a reasonable explanation, except that, according to my calculations, a speed of 2.04 to 2.50 million m/s (only 0.68% to 0.83% of the speed of light) is needed to cause a 2-3 seconds / day time dilation.

Still fairly fast, I must say.

There has been a supply of about 6,000 BTC, representing a value of ~$350 million, taken off all exchanges in the past 48 hours or so.
