So my suggestion would be do not allow RBF for your sweep transaction and set a very high fee to ensure that your transaction will be picked up immediately. Then pray.
Well, I will try to remember this. Also, ironically, you could use one of the controversial services that spammers like, for example, slipstream to pay a miner directly to include your transaction in a block without it ever being publicly seen before the block is mined.
A few months ago, I deposited Bitcoin from Binance onto a Visa card and used it to pay at a restaurant, something that many people do, especially in countries where direct payments using Bitcoin are not possible. It took me about 5 minutes to do, and it was a different experience for me.

Second hack occured from ColdCard wallet, more than 1000 coins (so far) stolen.
All ColdCard models are being drained.
This is so fcked up for people holding longterm for years as retirement funds...GONE!
I genuinely hope no one here has been affected.
While being away having a break from Bitcoin space i do check out the news -not so frequently as normal- just to keep updated for good news like the most likely coming Clarity Act and this ColdCard hack.
Always stay focused when it comes to your precious coins, check your coldstorage few times a year if it still in place.
Stay save guy's.

I think anyone coming in this thread and recommending ColdCard would get dogpiled. Many times over the years we discuss hardware wallets and usually it's when a new one comes out and tried to shill the shiny new thing and its always been the consensus to stick with Trezor and this gets repeated every time this shit happens like the retard ledger shit.

I will admit, I have been quite the tester of hardware signers. And I have an embarrassingly large collection. But I also have never used one to produce a private key for cold storage. And the reason is simple. I can either trust the security implementation of the developers as well as the evaluations/certifications etc by the experts they hire or I can trust a quality set of casino dice, or a plastic cup with 16 US quarters shaken, dumped out 16 times. Of course I also have to trust my old laptop running Tails is not pwned, or transmitting anything. You gotta calc the checksum somehow. And I tried it on paper once. Lol. Honestly the Trezor is always what I recommend first to friends who want to buy a "hardware wallet". But I do quite like other devices particularly the Jade and Seedsigner. As to the ColdCard. It is sad that this has happened. I actually think it is a fantastic device. But two things have always bothered me. 1. It's an overly complex device. If Etherium was a bitcoin hardware signer it would be the CC. Also NVK is one of the most arrogant people in bitcoin. Or was... this is going to possibly temper that quite a bit. King Solomon wrote some famous words that describe this situation perfectly: Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

yeah here in WO (and meatspace) ive only recommended trezors, and i specifically recommend NOT to use ledger. as they are the two i have personally used. most OG here have similar view i think. also this forum taught me about dice, cards, and coins as entopy sources. and why we need that entropy to be trusted. another example why bitcointalk forum is the place to learn bitcoin inside and out. so pay attention.

I wonder if blueberries actually grow where he's at. Just made blueberry / strawberry wine and it's one of the best wines I've ever made.
