That was one hell of a move. I can’t find any explanation for it. Maybe just a pump for the White House crypto meeting today? Somebody definitely wants the bottom to be in for this cycle. We’ll have to see if it holds or not. DCA buys looking smart today. Not sure if we’ve gotten used to low volatility or if this is a big daily move. Feels big though.

Hm? Short squeeze or stop hunting? Nearly kissed 70k, now falling back.
Too fast to be organic anyway.

I think your last words are extremely true, but I think inorganic could describe how the price has been kept here for some time.

and number has been mentioned I thought we could have got to buddy to mention a number.

it was nice to see it go a bit over 69k

oh well another day.

OT: talking about pumps...30 bil company (before today; Moderna-MRNA) is up 130% today because it's phase 3 melanoma trial was successful.
Maybe it would go down a bit, but it feels like something similar to the 2023 NVDA gap that never closed. Not an investment advice.

NOT OT: imagine a 130% btc bump...this would have been close to a "G-d candle" of 100K. It's nice to dream sometimes...

Super tight Bollinger bands...I posted about it and some pundits were saying the same, for example, Mooch.

OT: FYI:

Robots "revolution" is upon us: feels like a "Netscape" moment.
Unitree started trading on the STAR market in China and popped 460% from the IPO price (IPO implied valuation of 9 bil, but now it is about 50 bil, went from roughly $22 to $125 on the first trading day).

https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/stocks/articles/unitree-robotics-stock-soars-460-111514463.html

I feel that there would be a scramble in US/EU on this topic, shortly.
https://finance.yahoo.com/technology/ai/articles/germanys-vdma-lobby-calls-europe-125541862.html

Not an investment advice.

Fat finger  Cheesy

I think I spotted a few (2-3) distinct events. Is that a whole fat hand?

There was a haiku hidden in here somewhere, but I couldn't be bothered to uncover it. Blaming it on the lazy muse.

here is why

Of course the huge volumes on call-spreads are also something to pay attention but does not translate into making them fact the Bitcoin price will get to the $72K level by end of the month. Data from the positioning on options markets could tell us where retail and professional traders are betting on, but may not necessarily mean they believe those price level would be reached as if they were sure about the fact.

Apart of the options markets, we shall also expect Fed’s meeting and a change in inflation expectations, Fed commentary tone etc.. May cause impacts on risk assets like for Bitcoin. Personally I think we are more to follow what happens in options market than in macro data firstly.

Let's face it the  4 year price  cycle believers won. Which means to me we won't hit 72k we are very likely to drop down to 52k maybe even 48k.

about a 1 and 1/2 day wait and up we go.

From what I read it seems to be the result of the Fed doubling their treasury buyback operation, which investors are viewing as a move that will sacrifice the dollar to lower rates and potentially swap a recession for inflation. Was there ever any doubt? Now to see if the Clarity Act is a sell the news event or not.
