Blockchain.info down too? Seems legit, just need China to ban bitcoin a few times and CNBC to quote a bottom of $23 from obscure backwater exchange its a perfectly normal day in bitcoinland  Yah I was wondering why blockchain.info was down when checking my address Not really a price dropper but it may keep the market a bit quiet for an hour or two $23 dollars on a backwater exchange what a deal lol. |

just woke up... choo choo also just got up. The shorts on bitfinex increased by 2 kBTC (from 4 to 6) during that "dump". So if 600/620 holds and we go back up during the next day(s), we might see the shorts closed and finally break 680 in the process. On the other hand there are USD 22 million in leverages longs. So if we slam into the $500s, things might accellerate downwards. In both cases I see some squeezing in our future. |

I have a question someone might know the answer to:  those are 3-day candles on bitcoinwisdom. When will that last candle end? Did it just start or is it about to end? EDIT: It says "2014-06-03 2:00" when you hover over it with he crosshair pointer. Seems to me that's GMT 0:00 translated to my time zone. Is that the start time of the candle time range? |

They are using "4th party processor", i.e. recharge voucher
1st parties are the exchanges and client
2nd party is the commercial banks
3rd party is the Alipay (like Paypal)
PBoC banned 2nd and 3rd parties, so the exchanges add one more layer on top of that.
All noobs and non-believers should have sold during the capitulation. The Chinese who are buying now are those really understand the value of bitcoin.
Do they seriously think the PBOC won't ban "4th party" too, or didn't intend to ban it already? The exchange operators seem to be playing an extremely dangerous game here. The latest rumor says that PBoC is going to ban "recharge code": http://www.btcbbs.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=15521 (in Chinese) This should well explain the drop to 3756CNY (600USD) at Huobi few hours ago. The rumor says it's the Document 140/2014 of Payment and Clearing Association of China Similar rumors have been floating for a few days, but more details is given today. It's not confirmed, but I think this should eventually happen. Just FYI. I personally don't give a fuck to PBoC |

I believe that's the starting date, so for yours, it starts on the 3rd of June and ends on the 6th at the same time. Meaning that that candle has just started. Weird, though, since for me, it says at the bottom that it's June 2nd for that candle, meaning 2nd-5th. Either way it's at least another day or so before the next candle starts. |
