please educate a noob.. why put up a 2k wall just to remove it ?
To test the market and see if people started buying ? Or to scare down the price even more ?

to accumulate more.

market crash is imminent, followed by fiat crash...

Maybe unsure if he wants to sell.

gold is rising, stock market is falling like a rock, guess what price will bitcoin be ?
Just one word, bailout.

and inflation !!!

The uptrend will resume shortly. It's going to take a few more failed attempts shorting BTC before the bears give up. They are out in force again today cooing over a 2% decline when the price has just risen 35%. Lol.

Don't you ever get tired of posting "we're about to go up" 8 times a day? Day after day after day.

Ironically that was my second firstpost of the day, whilst you have posted countless times today already, mainly abusing people actually interested in price speculation, adding your own curious blend of negative, bitter and usually incorrect noise.

You are the perfect contrarian indicator. Bearish on every rise, doom mongering on every profit taking dip. Entirely failing to see the trend change unfolding before you. Bit ashamed you are a Brit to be honest.

Just so everyone knows,  Barry Silbert (Second Market Bitcoin Trust) basically admitted that some of the price decline was because of "tax selling" in today's tweet. (the tax extension deadline in the US is today, October 15th)
Quote
I know this will surprise nobody, but I'm feeling really good about bitcoin right about now. Plus, tax selling is finally behind us.

He even gave everyone a heads up about it in an earlier tweet on Oct 6th.

Surprised how few are connecting the recent selling pressure to the Oct 15 tax extension deadline. Taxes due from '09-'13 mining/usage/sales

I'm buying stocks today. All you need to know about stocks is what you learn from "Trading Places" with Eddie Murphy and Dan Ackroid. When everyone is buying like crazy you sell; when they're selling like crazy you buy. The same can be said about bitcoin. I also bought back some BTC today at a discount to what I sold it for yesterday.

Of course you can't be all in! You always need some "dry powder".

The fuck? So you have to get taxed when you mine it but not when you sell WTF? That makes no sense.

Can someone explain the following to me.
If Bitcoin goes down it's actually amazing news. It means it will go to the moon soon, cheap coins, accumulating, big players dying to get in and so on.
But when the stock market goes down everyone suggests to move out because it's so bad what is happening.

Why?

I think stock market crash will cause alot of people to pull their money, and some of those people will put it in bitcoin.

With New York getting exchanges in Q1 2015, the timing will be great.

Noooo, please don't set that off, it went on for months last time. Next it will be things like "Entire female population of the planet gets the clap? Bitcoin user not affected!".

I find that in most circumstances this could actually be an acurate headline

That "bull run" in the stock market has been carried by less and less volume as time goes on.  Shocked  ie. that market is merely being sustained by the fed, hence it's not much of a real market and there's less and less real investors entering that market.

This thesis does not work in a secular bear market.
Check out 1929-1932 in US (whoever was panic selling during 1929 basically still sold almost at the top as long as they did not buy back until mid 1932) or Japan 1989-2012 (23 years!!!)

No. Someone who just lost money because of a 3% crash isn't going put money in something that crashed 70% this year. Get over it.

So many people assume that Bitcoin is some kind of magical alternative everyone will switch to when things go bad. It doesn't work like that.
Bitcoin is just another investment option, like there are 1000's of others. Only difference is that Bitcoin is one of the worst performers this year.

Because bias.

As opposed to ~70% down, yes.  Doing about two-thirds better than BTC Smiley

I find extremely frustrating the fact that IMF and JPM are SERIOUSLY considering BTC and Blockchain as a financial way towards their future. I can't HODL BTC under those circumstances. It's not ethical nor sane. Should I SODL?
