The passive income possibility is a big plus, but it also makes BNT more likely to be qualified as a security, doesn't it?

I don't think BNT could be considered security, because you won't get any income solely by holding this tokens. I'm pretty sure it qualifies as utility, but you can't be 100% sure what SEC can come up with...

Got you. I was just coming up with that idea because someone mentioned a passive income stream. And that is a major characteristic of a security and the SEC will do everything in their power to qualify as many tokens as a security as possible.

By the way, in the future on bancor it will be possible to receive the passive income. Read the Whitepaper. But this is like renting a token.

Pumps and Dumps are a serious issue in the crypto markets, that's for sure. However, it should be noted that the SEC literally has bounties for people with inside info on these groups to shut them down and take other action, so it's a warning shot to these groups. Let's wait for a precedent here, should be interesting.

Like their raid group will have any serious impact on the pump and dump groups. Besides how would you even get the identity of the people running these groups, they would have to be pretty moronic to give out their real names to anonymous strangers on the internet WHILE breaking the law that is!
