And not only is blockchain bettering that economy but at the same time is providing the inception layer to how all cryptocurrencies can be dealt with offline and in a secure manner. It is weird watching the Bancor Procotol grow because it doesn't happen fast and I feel like another year it will only begin the potential that Bancor has. I am now beginning to think that Bancor for me may be longer than a year hodl but it still seems like it will be worthwhile when said and done.

Does anyone know why the gas price has just multiplied by a factor 5 in only two days when you buy BNT with ETH ? Two days ago, it cost me 5 euros and now everyone is paying at least 25 euros (cf bancor smartcontract transactions fees on etherscan)... It is really painful just for a little transaction

Current gas prices are high. You should check https://www.ethgasstation.info/ to get more information on the current gas price. The SafeLow is 21 at the moment, which is on the higher side.

The Ethereum blockchain is apparently totally overwhelmed since 48h. Let's hope it won't rise up again to 1000 gwei or God knows what in a month ... It would neither be good for the Bancor project nor the entire Ethereum blockchain if running smartcontrats becomes so expensive.

It should goes back to normal once Casper will be activated. At least that is the plan

Anyway, besides eth network congestion, looks like the most tokens on Bancor are on the rise along with BNT, and volume on the platform is going up. Can't wait to see limit orders implemented, and the rest of tokens activated.

Once Bancor starts to rise seriously it could even go further than $100, especially if all the cryptoworld will be growing as well this year. Long term i am pretty sure that Bancor will achieve one of the highest capitalisations in the whole landscape of cryptocurrencies, which will be coherent with its status of provider of liquidity to all or most of them.

Yeah, there are lots of plans on the Ethereum scalability roadmap, and many should help bring down the price of running these smart contracts.

This is not a very clever assessment. Shitcoins get pumped & dumped again and again. Bancor has its protocol preventing these things to be done easily, so there is less speculation on Bancor. This means Bancor's prices will rise slower, but steadier and for a good reason and when they'll do 10X they will probably never go back down.

Totally agree. This is a type of coin that will give gradual, steady growth. I do expect a sudden hype, however VERY solid coin to keep in your portfolio.
