We take this matter very seriously, have addressed it and took the following action:

 — Immediately contacted this user and resolved things directly with them.
 — Updated our Web App to include liquidity depth on the discover page to give a better sense of potential price slippage before any transaction is made.
 — Implemented a new ticketing system to improve our support response times and efficiency. This will ensure that no emails get left behind.
 — Initiated plans to add even more language and clarity to the transaction confirmation page with potential price slippage estimates.

This is such a good news! I am a strong and early supporter of Bancor and that user's letter had really worried me. It's great to see such a proactive response to a serious issue which have been raised. Now I am back into 100% full optimism about the project.

Never lost faith in a coin, even with falling prices in the summer and autumn, I do not doubt the prospects of the project. Bancor is one of the coins that will cost a lot in the future

Platform is looking good, new addition of showing USD value of tokens is very useful. I wish it comes with a prepared gas fee though. Sending ETH from an exchange to Bancor platform cost people too much, especially if they are from poor countries.

Also, please know that we are constantly dedicating resources to optimize the gas consumption, estimation, relative cost and experience for users. We recently released two improvements that lowered fees by 80% and are optimistic that this problem will subside over time.

As you can see, cross-chain is in the works, and there are plans already being implemented for Bancor to operate on top of other blockchains in addition to Ethereum.

Bancor team should consider adding mobile to the web3 wallet. It's always a pain in the ass to have to switch to my pc anytime I want to trading smart tokens on bancor network. I use my mobile device more times than I use my pc. I want to suggest that this functionality should be added to boost ease of use.

Yes, you need a little bit of ETH in your Bancor Web Wallet if you are using it to make conversions, but nothing more than the amounts listed in the disclaimer.

As the Bancor Wallet is currently undergoing its final security audit, we currently advise against storing large amounts of ETH in your Web App account beyond what is needed to cover gas fees.

At the moment this applies to all tokens.

I am an ICO investor that kind of forgot about this one since I could never make any profit out of it. Now can somebody explain to me please, why is the BNT price so correlated to the ETH price? Whenever ETH moves up, BNT does as well and the same happens when going down. BNT never moves in any direction by itself. Why is that the case?

We see that the work is going on, it's a pity that the bancor is still inunder ico price, but this is not an excuse to get upset, because everyone understands that out of the heap alts this is one of the promising developments
