Yes, but crypto still has a lot of the homework, especially to getting approve by the securities institution in every government. The crypto market cap is worth for multiple billion dollars in the future.

There are many crypto now, maybe crypto what do you mean? Not all crypto has a good performance, the future crypto will depend on the their performance. But I think crypto that has a good performance like bitcoin will have a good future, we could become rich by using it. But to achieve a better future crypto should be developed, I believe if the crypto can grow will definitely have a good future, and prices continue to rise.

I do not agree with the common term "all cryptocurrencies " because except bitcoins, I do not find any prosperous future for any other cryptocurrencies. Maybe it would be the right sensible if we say "bitcoin is the future".

At the same time, bitcoin is not a "get rich quick" kind of program. But it has some investment opportunity. Basically it is a currency. You may get chances to make money by investing into it. But prime purpose of it is "a decentralized internet medium of exchange".

I think cryptocurrency really has great potential to be the future of money. However, I don't think the current ones we see would be the ones that would be used in the future. I don't think governments will want cryptocurrencies they cannot control would rule the world. I believe that governments will be the ones that would create their own cryptocurrency.

well it depends on what you are calling cryptocurrencies and which one of them you have in mind for holding.
many say government is going to create their own cryptocurrency and in the future we may switch to cryptocurrencies instead of cash. in that case there is nothing to hold.

but if you have altcoins in mind then again there aren't any worth holding.

the only thing remaining is bitcoin. and yes it is worth holding it for a long time and it can rise up a lot but don't expect it to replace fiat or anything like that.

There is no doubt that cryptocurrency or shall we say digital currency is the future,  but the one that will dominate each nations currency will be the one created by each government.  The only exemption is the few decentralized currency that has established its community and base users.  The fact that we are at the young stage of cryptocurrency age, we can make money out of the growing economy since it is established that early adopters always have the benefits of making money out of every technology that is released or developed.

The question is which cryptocurrencies will survive in the long run. There are hundreds of them already and there are dozens with Market Cap over $1,000,000. But I doubt all of them will be active in the future, even the latter ones.

I have been thinking along this line this wide and for those that have many bitcoin they should keep holding as bitcoin and others crypto currencies is gaining popularity. I do believe that one day bitcoin will be trading above $10,000 and by then if you hold little amount of bitcoin you will be a millionaire in others currencies.

Still a long way to go. The good thing is that it seems that though governments are either skeptical of or want more regulation of bitcoins, none of significance have made an attempt to outright ban bitcoins. It is slowly gaining acceptance especially in the less industrialized countries that are dependent on remittances. Once it takes hold there, it would be difficult to eliminate entirely. And once fiat goes digital, people will flock to cryptos for security and as refuge from ever increasing gov't surveillance.

Example: Bitcoin, more and more people use it, the price will increase, but at that time the security requirements must be improved, as well as speed of processing each transaction or occurrence hardfolk ...

Only bitcoin is the cryptocurrency that will shine in the future in terms of price and usage. Other alts are meant for profit taking and don't have a priority to erase or change the usual money transactions we are doing right now especially thru online transactions.

Don't just look at the rich side of using bitcoin but the technology behind it. Yes it will explode more in the future as literally, it was currently exploding now. Expect more surprises (including a wrong one lol) while bitcoin is progressing.

I will not exactly say it is the future, but it definitely have the potential to give you a lot of money in the future if you play it right. If you are just bag holding a lot of  scam coins/crypto, then you are up for a big disappointment. But if you are holding some good crypto, then you can be rich in the near future.

Bitcoin holders will for sure be rich, but you will need a good portfolio of at least 21 BTC. The 21 BTC long term holding goal is very real, you would be inside an elite group of holders destined to be very wealthy, that's why we must fight and fight and keep hustling bitcoins with no rest until we reach 21 BTC.

I don't think that it is possible to predict the future of the Bitcoin. Back in 2010, when Bitcoin was trading at $0.10 per coin, no one thought that the exchange rates are going to increase by 1,000,000% in just three years. Anything can happen.... Either it can increase by 1,000%, or its value can crash to the double digits.
