Well with more people's interests, it also more susceptible to hacking and crashing and though i agree with both of you that btc's future seems bright indeed along with crypto in general, i'm not assuring myself that it's going to be like this always. I'll make sure tonhave a backup in case something unwanted happens.

It is impossible to know the number of users since many have many wallets and addresses, but to know the average growth over time does not seem that difficult the only thing you need to do is to go to coinmarketcap.com and look for the market cap at the beginning of the month and then you can make some math about the average market cap for that year.

Yes, and this is a serious, save money in the bank would make its value drop, switch to all cryptocurrency (Ethereum, bitcoin, Litecoin, Doge, Wetrust and so is better than save money to the bank.

I think as long as you are careful in your wallets online and you are taking extra precautions in every clicks and transactions ( the exchangers nowadays are still lacking on transparency and insurance if somethings goes wrong ), that's why even if we are being robbed ( slowly), when in terms of insurance, banks still have the edge. So true it is what you said, if the segwit2x is successfully done then the transaction will become fast and with low fees , then the price will also shoot up very rapidly and the retailer won be having problem in making bitcoin as payment option for their business.

So true it is what you said, if the segwit2x is successfully done then the transaction will become fast and with low fees , then the price will also shoot up very rapidly and the retailer won be having problem in making bitcoin as payment option for their business.

In my opinion paying in a physical store will always be a problem with bitcoin no matter what we do, besides I will prefer bitcoin to concentrate on the online market, when the day comes in which bitcoin is more popular than paypal then that will be a great and we could move to try to make bitcoin work on the physical world.

If I will sell my crypto currencies holding now I could already make money, but guess what? I will not gonna sell it now because I am seeing it will bring me more in the future if I will hold. The reason why it is called a digital currency. Why would anyone make a physical coin of it, that will be the reason that bitcoin might drop dead. Also, the reason why crypto currencies are not used for all transactions is because it has a volatile price and it is not that popular to be used by many people.
