How do you send a signed message with the BTC-address we paid Zefir with if the payment has already been sent?
bitcoind signmessage <youraddress> "your message" It'll output a big long number. To verify it, anyone can then do: bitcoind verifymessage <youraddress> <biglongnumber> "your message" Massive thanks.

Could you tell me when pcb's will be ready for shipping? Id like to order few bare pcbs and mount everything my self. I have a few pice SMT/BGA rework rig that will handle it with ease. Also are you going to provide schematics for your pcb?
They'll be ready 1-2 Weeks prior to expected Chip delivery. Schematics/BOM will be provided. Since a lot of you are wondering how this whole signed message thing will work. This is how to do it with the Bitcoin-QT Client: #Step1: click sign message #Step2: choose the originating address #Step3 Paste or type the message stating you want your chips assembled by me #Step4 press sign message #Step5 Include the output like this in the order email to me (not open yet) Signing address: 18tWnLb3y2E6B9utxDZE4bmu8DasSNBnqX -----cut below----- Hi Zefir,
i <nickname> want that my all of my Chips ordered from you are send to Burnin for assembly into Mining boards. Originating address: 18tWnLb3y2E6B9utxDZE4bmu8DasSNBnqX
signed <nickname> -----uncut above----- Signature: H15yzUi6PGtX+GUFT0jb/epPHLD0epfinXlskrxpPPlqJOPeg70BSwIdqMf/rwDiTl0fGWp7NQ51TsdK/PoCXg0=
And more good news for people who participated in ragingazn628's group buy. I'm in contact with him to establish a similar direct shipping scheme.

One more question.. will you start shipping bare boards before chips will be delivered? I'd like to get the pcb before chips will be delivered so I can prepare my rework rig. Many thanks.

Is there an estimate on size of these devices?
If I ordered 100 chips to be prepared by burnin am I understanding correctly that I would be receiving 10 boards which are stackable?
Any bulk discount for ordering ~10 boards?
Do you foresee any problems shipping to the United States? I know Avalons had problems when shipped with PSUs so I assume this won't be a factor.

Are you planning to develope a real USB connection or only a USB 2 Serial connection? And what for a microcontroller do you wanna use on the boards?
And do you publish the sources, PCB layouts after you ship your boards or Avalon ships the Asics?

Also, while I appreciate what you are trying to do, Who are you? No post count, late '12 join date, and no reputation make me extremely apprehensive sending you 100's of BTC worth of hardware.

Hey Burnin, Thanks a bunch for working on this -- obviously, people are into it, and it can seriously help the BTC mining community large-scale Two concepts: <snip> Regarding higher density boards (more chips/board): I'll focus on the 10 Chip version for now but i will look into that.
I'm one of the perhaps 50 "group buy" purchasers, that would like to see a board capable of more than 10 chips. I think you're wise working on the first version -- a 10 chip board, solely and initially. But might I suggest, that you try/think of one that does 100 chips (or a major increase, like 10x or more). Perhaps alternatively you could provide the same 10 chip board, but sell it with economy of scale (like, just put 10 boards together with 10 chips each, but sell it for 30%?? less). I'm pretty sure 50+ members of BTCtalk would like to see something/anything like this or similar (or have some options from you), especially as/before you announce your shipping time estimates and solid prices. Secondly, thanks for your post #102 (about "signing")... I think that'll help both you, and all the "newby's" (like myself probably!) in making the orders with you more seamless. Best of luck, to you and us all, in this endeavor And BTC long-term in general.

@Burnin
Do you envision having your own gross of chips where so you can simply sell a completed unit directly?

That is good news... now just hope these people GET THEIR COINS in for this group buy. Closing in on 500 paid in... need just a few more to pay up. Wish it was worth my while to send all the chips your way but with customs in Indonesia better we manufacture here to avoid customs clearances. Really hoping the DIY extends to the board design being open source so we can cut down on the delays and customs. If I were in the EU it be an easy call.

Well, first I like to thank burnin, this is awesome. I hope everyone tips this man once his asic is up and running.
but I need to know how to sign a message when I use an online wallet like blockchain. I paid for the chips with that ewallet, so no way I can just create an offline wallet or connect to this wallet via a client.. suggestions?

You could export your private key, import them to a bitcoin-qt client and then sign your message.
