I agree that no one can defeat gold for it is the mainstream of every items that have some high value not because of its designs and image but it is all base on what the value of gold in it. Gold can be more high value than bitcoin if we collect all information about it all over the world. I still believe that gold is first then bitcoin next to it.

I think bitcoin has not really defeated gold since the gold market was larger than crypto-currency market right now and the users of gold is more than the user of crypto-currency. The gold and bitcoin if compared has its own world, the gold is in the actual world can be seen and touch ,the value of gold will last forever until this world end, the value of bitcoin is only in digital market it will go high ,down and it may vanished, I do not think bitcoin in my opinion will defeat gold.
